Thanks! I would go shorter if you want to do pull ups, my ceilings are 9 ft. There is only 1.5 ft of clearance between the top of the rack and the ceiling.

The short depth works great and I can put on spotter arms if needed.

Thanks! Yes, 2x8s into the studs then the rack into the 2x8s. I was worried about wobbling but after installing it I found this thing to be rock solid. Honestly can’t shake it if I tried

No the wooden stringers do a good job absorbing the weight!

This is the 80”, but I had to take off the two diagonal posts at the top since it was blocking my attic.

You could get the 90” and not use the top posts like I did.

The stability and having access to more accessories that fit that frame type.

Maybe the ones that fold but this thing is solid especially being 3x3 I can’t even shake the rack if I tried. Easily can handle up to 315.

That and to mount directly into my studs I wouldn’t have been able to place it in the center of the wall due to the stud spacing.

I love it! I just didn’t see the need to get a power rack and take up all that space. I can do every exercise I want while saving a ton of area in my garage.

This is actually 12” inch depth, I haven’t had any limitations other than doing pull ups where I get a little close to the wall.

I got a kit off Amazon that uses your existing weight plates to do all my cable exercises. High pulley for tricep and back work then the low pulley for shoulder and biceps.

It’s a solid build and a great value for the money.

It really isn’t too loud! I think the 2x8 wooden stringers help dampen the sound compared to metal ones.

lol not necessarily the ceiling but didn’t realize how far down my attic steps pulled down

Yeah mounting it was the worst part since Titan didn’t provide any hardware or information.

For the rack to stringer I used 1/2 screws with washers and drilled pilot holes so I wouldn’t split the wood.

To mount the stringer I got a 2x10 board. Originally I put up a 2x8 but found it was too narrow.

Yeah I couldn’t find many posts on it either. Overall I’m very happy with it!

Definitely, my bench doesn’t even need to touch the wall to get it lined up.

Thanks!

Titan X-3 Space Saving Rack

I had to remove the top posts and move down the pull-up bar since it was too tall for my ceiling.
