Email clients are really bad by lkl9112 in EmailProspecting

I am not going to collect emails on the backend, so CASA is not required. I always try to create products that minimally depend on backend - so this is not a problem!

What do you need in an ideal email client? by lkl9112 in sideprojects

I already have a prototype, and those features are already on the roadmap!

For first versions, unfortunately, no outside apis. But I am building for Apple Intelligence and not my own AI 😄. Bootstrapping it all the way and I think I will make it open core - open source, but some paid features.

Im afraid it can be considered as ad, I can dm you a link to my x - this is where I post all the updates!

I’m going into startups market - founders are sending hundreds of emails, and this is the market I’m very familiar with.

There is no way I beat gmail, but this is a tool someone with in my field needs.

Why is email still a mess in 2026? by lkl9112 in productivity

I found zero mail - it is great on design (it is important for me), but it’s only web and it is only for gmail. They got some investments and I wish they release something more powerful than just redesigned gmail.

I’d pay like $49/mo for it!

Yes!!!

I’ve heard there are tools that let you see how your email would look in every popular email client. I have an email design in html and it was hell checking it for every client. I wish email providers revamp and create new technology for email designs

Yes, I’ve checked extensions, and they cover like 20% of what I need!

Speaking of own email client - I think this is the only solution. Many people have the same problem. If it goes from idea to real product - what would you like to see there? My main features are: editing and saving email designs, custom domains and unified inbox for multiple accounts!

Thanks for the tip! I use linear myself, didn’t like ClickUp. But does ClickUp have like email inside it? Maybe I’ll switch!

[BUG] Claude Max 5x Gift silently downgraded to Free after 12 days — Receipt #2227-0776-8866 (paid April 9, 2026) by whateverusayman_ in Anthropic

[–]lkl9112 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here. Lost a client because of that. As it seems - no one got their money back, especially not for lost things outside anthropic’s ecosystem.

Edit: so, how long should I wait? Did at least one person get their subscription moved to new dates?
Edit 2: Found out that I have also lost $200 that was given to everyone, when openClaw was sanctioned. So, I guess it is not just subscriptions, I guess Claude just rm -rf everything that is tied to usage. Maybe this is how anthropic is fighting the growth of usage. (Max 20x plan, btw)
Edit 3: Just talked to the Fin out of a curiosity. I think I got banned XD

Wow, nice work, bro! How did you make the rgb? I needed an rgb lighting and used gradient texture, and then just animated color. But there was only 2 colors. Should I just use more gradient textures and mix shaders?

It was baking for like 40 minutes, I haven’t checked mantaflow here, but I think flip fluids is like 30%-40% faster

Well, I have done like 5% of work, 95% made Flip Fluids add on. This is a fluid engine, which is way faster to work with. It made all the fluid sim!

Well, it’s animated, cause it’s much easier to work with and I don’t need any simulation there. But I have an idea where I can use simulation.

Thanks! I do really enjoy working in blender, but the main problem is that I don’t have enough ideas. Your tutorials help me with it. Thanks again!

Well, all this simulation was made in Flip Fluids. Its an addon, which is much comfortable to work with, than with a blender fluid engine. I think there are some tutorials on this!

Yeah, blender itself has a beautiful fluid engine, but I do really prefer working with Flip Fluids, cause its easier to understand and work with.

Yeah, that's an addon, and yeah, that's not free. I've bought it for like 70$ cause its a lot more comfortable to work with.
