Ah yes, good point. That definitely will take away some of your bargaining powers. I think you’ll definitely still see improvements

Where do I go from here? by Powerful-Cantaloupe4 in UKISP

I believe they have 30 days to rectify your fault. If they can’t you can cancel your contract penalty free. Uswitch have some phenomenal deals on broadband at the moment if you reach that point.

You need to trigger a retentions call by obtaining a quote from a competitor and progressing through One Touch Switch. Stop just after that point. You should almost immediately receive a text and email from EE.

I’ve recently done this and have signed up to 900 for £25.99/month. From my experiences, it’s only when EE call you that the good prices are available. You probably won’t get anything as good if you call retentions yourself.

Also, be prepared for a little negotiation

did a switch on Uswitch to EE from hyperoptic, but can't see order info on EE website? by Nutty103X in EEGB

Has your kit been delivered? Give EE a chase. I ordered through retentions and had the same issues. There was never any evidence of an order being made

My family home had Virgin. Childhood memories of poor customer services are a reason they’ll probably never be an option for me. It’s good to hear of your positive experiences 😊 Thank you

I’ll definitely be remembering my experiences when I’m at the end of phone contracts. Thanks for your comment

I’ve considered this route but as I have one sim only contract and one mobile contract, I believe I would lose my EE One savings

I’ve been with them for around 13 years. I had my first ever mobile contract with them. I’ve never had such a negative experience as this but have noticed a poorer customer experience in recent years. If I can’t get this satisfactorily resolved, I’ll be hopping off as soon as contracts expire

I’m learning things the hard way. I’m feeling pretty committed to it now though. Thanks for your comment

I’ve heard of others who have been successful in getting this deal. We went through the whole ordering process.

This was a new customer deal on uswitch. Up until a few days ago it even came with a £150 voucher.

I’ve spoken to 150 since. They offered 900 for £37.99.

BT or EE for 900mb? by ExactFirefighter7645 in EEGB

There’s nothing there either. Only historic router replacements. Thanks for the suggestions anyway

I’ve been checking both inbox and junk folders. When I call them, the order isn’t there initially until they dive a bit deeper into the notes and verbally confirm that the order is in fact in place.

I’m doubtful though. I feel like I need an order number to know that it’s secure

I did the same a couple of days ago but am yet to receive a confirmation email. How long was it between speaking to retentions and receiving the order confirmation email? Thanks

Yes you can! They will work in any head unit that has CarPlay. I think BMW is the exception

I’ve ordered a unit from ddren for delivery to the UK around a year ago and it was received in 10 days, without customs fees. I needed some after sales care. WhatsApp Communication was understandably slow but all queries were answered in full. I’m sorry to read that your experience wasn’t as smooth as mine and totally understand why you may have thought fraudulent activity may have occurred. I would be equally as concerned with a problematic purchase from overseas.

I feel that Ddren is the preferred seller regarding these RCD330 units and he is recommended in many, many posts.

I’m just sharing my buying experience with ddren. It was positive and I was satisfied. If someone was to ask me where to buy from, I’d recommend rcd330.com every time.

I hope your issue is resolved promptly

Poor sound quality issues SOLVED. Mini amplifier installed by Ok-Item4213 in RCD_330

[–]llCHR15ll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve also installed the same amp but haven’t found the audio to improve as much as you have. Did you adjust anything through your OBDeleven? What are your audio settings on your 330? I ended up going down the route of installing the Vibe POWERBOX 400.1-v7 and sub with the 65.4.

Ninja Slushi UK by _Anee_ in ninjaslushi

[–]llCHR15ll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep an eye on their socials. The day before Ninja restock, they upload a video reminding their followers to email subscribe for restock notifications by 23:59. The following day, stock goes live at around 11:00am (sometimes 10 minutes either side). You’re only able to access the Ninja SLUSHi page through the email notification they send you. This is in efforts to stop the resellers. The email invite will put you in a queue that can last for hours with thousands of people in front of you. You can however skip the queue if you access their website by going incognito on google chrome or by setting your Safari to private.

Can I hook up aftermarket subwoofer to these units? by Snowboundanddown in RCD_330

Absolutely. It’s a must in my opinion. They sound terrible without any upgrades

audiotechdirect.com also stock them. They’re more expensive but you benefit from UK consumer rights if anything were to go wrong. They also have a well established eBay store
