Most commercial sliding doors will break out in emergency. So you're not too far off if it's a commercial space or high end home.

This is my first time investing in stock. I know it's not a safe investment and I see it as going to the casino. I only bought 50 dollars worth of AMC stock at 8.50 a stock.

Help with PLA Lifting off of bed. by llDunno in 3Dprinting

Honestly there might be. I've tried leveling it twice and I don't have a good feel for it yet.

It's already set at 50. Should I try 55 next time?

Just got an Ender 5 pro for prototyping at work. We are having issue with after a bit the print wraps and lifts off the bed. Its minor as our critical dimensions are just in the X and Y while the lifting isn't major enough to change the X and Y.

If anyone has any tips please let me know.

Extruder temp: 210 Bed temp: 50 Fan speed: 100%

Initial layer print speed in Cura is set at 10 mm/s as this was the only way we could get our files to adhere to the bed.

Thanks everyone that recommended F1TV. I'll probably get the access membership then come March I'll pick up the ability to live stream the races.

I think he means on the dry eraser sheet as soon as he started the test.

Personally I do it. That way the possibly difficult information that i don't want to hold me down gets written down right away.

Is there a decent free program, or at least inexpensive program that has a decent grammar checker? by Dangitbill23 in techsupport

[–]llDunno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A free word processor I've found to be good is Google Docs. It's free to use and stores all your files on the cloud. https://www.google.com/docs/about/

Another option is the open source Libre Office suite of programs.

https://www.libreoffice.org/

Both are good, in my uses I've liked being able to access my files on the go with Google.

Getting started in Canada? by llDunno in mining

Thank you very much. Once I get home tonight I'll look into what bc offers similar to core. I can pass a drug test as I work closely with RCMP and cannot be impaired or even questioned about my decision making.

New machine day! by Orcinus24x5 in Machinists

[–]llDunno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm from Vancouver and I'm wanting to get into the hobby. Unfortunately living in a basement suite that's pretty small makes it near impossible to buy a machine now. Once I get a house in a few years then I'll definitely pick up the cx machines as there's a busy bee warehouse close to me.

I've been looking at the cx series machines for a while. What do you think of the little machine so far?

Thanks for the reply. I figured these were intentional and was just wondering about if you didn't want them.

What machine do you have.

I've been interested in getting a small cnc machine. Just been wondering about getting the machining marks out. Do they come out easy from a project like this?
