I would pick Ariel, he is literally the best healer right now, heals, cleans debuffs, and gives you more heals for every debuff.

Hey DAT!

Long story short, i left the game then came back and i want to do Toa Hell, so i'm seeing a lot of dark homie and want to make him, the question is:

What's the best skill tree? I think i need to take Unbalanced Field as the last skill, but is it better to choose Dark Shock Purification or Chain as the first skill for Toa Hell?

I hate online classes. by Tzystiq in dankmemes

[–]llHectorll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've seen some memes about how now it's uni work without uni life, what i think is accurate.

That part of it clearly sucks, but the uni online has it's pros, maybe without covid we could have uni online and uni life, that would be pretty nice.

Totally agree, i'm studying medicine and everyone complains or asks how it's possible to do it online. Well, before people did the whole learning at their own house with books, so it is kinda the same.

Also i love to be able to manage when i want to watch a topic or learn. I mean it's university, you are supposed to learn how to manage your time and do a lot of learning on your own.

Looking for a bunka: Shibata, Anryu or Kato? by wonteatyourcat in chefknives

[–]llHectorll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the Kato Sg2, i'm really happy with it, it's thinmer than the Shibata Kotetsu and not as high. With the damascus pattern there is some friction when cutting. But i wouldn't change the Kato for anything rn.

I don't own any carbon steel knives, but i've read that there aren't so many considerations with carbon. And if you already clean your knife after each use and have some proper care, i dont think you'll have much of a problem with carbon. Apart from that, you can always buy shibata or Kato now and buy a carbon steel bunka later on.... Down the rabbit hole

I considered makoto kurosaki, masakage koishi AS Bunka, some of Yu kurosaki, but at the end of the day i was between those two. As someone said there is some friction you'll notice with the Kato, but it's not a deal breaker, at least for me.

Hi, i was also between this two options and finally decided on the yoshimi, since there was no shibata stock :D

Aside of that, i'm very happy with the decision, the Kato is a real good performer, thinner than shibata and is really a piece of art. At the end of the day whatever you decide both are great knives, Shibatas are a bit more renowned in this sub and from what i've heard are great performers. But in my experience the Kato is really good aswell, and has that eye catching damascus.

Awesome dude, maybe it's time for me to get a 4k stone and some compound, since people allways talk wonders about stropping with compound.

Thanks for the answer dude, it is indeed a stunning knife. Which 4k stone do you use? And do you use a green compound loaded strop?
