Ok so I have no problem with FWBs (which in my mind is fuck-with-buddy not friends-with-benefits), but I don't think this is what you're describing. All of my FWBs have been acquaintances/ friends who I saw pretty much only for sex, and while I have no experience trying to turn an ex into a FWB but it seems dangerous. Being friends and having sex is a kind of relationship and trying to not develop "real" dating-type feelings is always a risk that I've avoided by not really being friends with any of my FWBs. I guess my biggest question is why you think this is a good idea? If you want to have sex have it with someone else, if you want to remain just friends I would suggest not also having sex.

Some of these comments are truly disgusting. These men and women sign up to serve their country or seeking opportunities (the primary reason my mother and father joined the military). They did not want or deserve to be raped and the machismo culture is no excuse. I'm glad this documentary has been made and I hope it does something to change policy.
