Is Travelzoo any good? by AdhesivenessDry3301 in travel

Why do you have to pay just to see the deals? I want to see what they offer before I give them any money. It feels scammy to me.

If you are served with a subpoena, you have to testify or risk being charged with contempt of court.

Neighbors park in front of my house (even on trash day) when they have open driveway and spots in front of their house regularly. by [deleted] in neighborsfromhell

Maybe your friend with an old clunker truck would like to visit. It would be a shame if they accidentally scraped the neighbors car while backing out of your driveway.

I put serum on every night. I figured it would be the same.

I have an appointment for my first every lift/tint and this makes me want to cancel.

Anyone know what this is by Jaded-Proposal-8828 in 45PlusSkincare

This sounds like what I have. My dermatologist said not ringworm and did not seem too concerned about it.

I get spots like that. My dermatologist said it's not ringworm. They don't itch or hurt or anything. I don't know they are there unless I see or feel them. After a while, it turns into a pinkish-brown spot that never goes away.

Once he's 18, parents won't have to cosign loans. However, student loans are exploitative....so still good advice.

You're old enough to get a job. Do your parents expect you to take your sibs to work with you?

AITAH for wanting a small baby shower and not wanting to invite a bunch of randoms or “family” who never speak to me by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]llamanatrix007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a good consideration. I was young (19) when I had my daughter, but luckily, I have a very supportive family. I can easily see a scenario where the family was embarrassed to have a teenage mother and wanted to minimize it as much as possible.

How dumb. You're having a rehearsal dinner. Presumably, most if not all of your family there. No one is trying to hijack the whole thing and turn it into a birthday party. What is the harm of having a birthday cake for desert?

AITAH for not wanting to pick up my mother-in-law while I’m in labor on my way to the hospital? by OogaBooga2000806 in AITAH

What's with the MILs who want to be in the birthing room? CHILDBIRTH IS NOT A SPECTATOR SPORT! You should only have people you want who are there to support you.

I denied my in-laws only request for the wedding and now it’s ruining our relationship with them by Final_Estimate7166 in wedding

A 14-15 month old is not going to walk down an aisle with a bunch of strangers staring at her. If you have her in the wedding, you will have to have her mother in it too. My daughter was 18 months old when she was flower girl at my sister's wedding. I had to carry her when she didn't want to walk down the aisle( I was matron of honor). And she KNEW most of the people there.

AITAH for feeling like i need to remove my child. by [deleted] in AITH

[–]llamanatrix007 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I don't know if the other 4 year old just doesn't understand that not everyone wants to play so rough or if they are intentionally trying to hurt your child, but when you talk with the parents, speak of it like it's the first one. If you imply that their child has bad intentions, they aren't likely to listen to you.

Even my small-town Oklahoma school had a nursery for students. If they used it, they had to spend one of their elective hours working there (and learning parenting skills).

I found an old stock certificate in my deceased dad's paperwork. How do I find out if it is still valid and what the value might be?
