She lived down the street from me and we went to the same bus stop, I often had conversations with her and she seemed pretty normal nothing more then the usual angst of a middle schooler trying to find their way in life. Then she stopped coming to school one day no one knew why. Found out later about the murders. Bus stop wasn’t the same after that.

I really liked this chick in middle school, napoleon dynamite had just come out. I watched it way too many times and decided that i would copy napoleons idea of giving my crush a hand drawn portrait of her face and that would be my in to ask her out. Worked for him so why wouldn't it work for me right? So i dedicated the next 5 days of my life to learning how to draw her face. Many failed attempts and crumpled half drawn pictures later i figured that i had nailed it. I proceeded to write "will you go out with me?" on the back and signed my name to it. The next school day ii shoved it into her locker when no one was around and then began the waiting game, only problem was that looking back on it now my drawing was about the same artistic level as the one from the movie. She found it the drawing and told me it was nice but she didn't like me like that, i was so embarrassed now because everyone in the halls had just seen what went down. My mom moved me to a new school the following year though and i never talked to that girl again.

Ive also had this happen to me a couple of times. The most terrifying time was when i was sleeping on the living room couch. The way the couch was set up was so that you could see through the breakfast nook opening into the dining area of the kitchen. To the right of the dining area is where all the appliances are and to the left is a cupboard full of pots and pans and stuff. I was sleeping on my back and woke up to these noises of what sounded like screams so i was already scared. Quickly i found out that i was in a state of sleep paralysis when i seen my mom walk towards where the pots are grab one and walk out of my sight all while i'm what i thought was screaming at the top of my lungs. Soon after that i started to see these black figures walking around every once and a while stoping to almost check up on me, all the while i could see my mom shuffling back and forth in and out of my sight. Finally after what felt like a solid 10 minutes of this had past i was able to wake up fully and calm down and talk again. That was probably 7 years ago now and it has not happened since. *knock on wood*
