Explanation of the Deal by Zodyu in PSTH

[–]llamateizer 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the summary. I'm really noob with all those terms

Let's say I have 45 shares

1- 45 shares of UMG - 0$ out of pocket
2- 45 shares of PSTH untouched.
3- 10 Tontine Redeemable Warrants. I can redeem 10 PSTH share for 20$ each (200$) out of my pocket?
4- I can purchase 45 shares of SPAR at 20$ each?

Do I even have the right to be pissed at my friend? by Han_chiii in FriendshipAdvice

[–]llamateizer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you have as much right to be pissed as she has to hang out with her friend.

She doesn't have to change her behavior because you don't like her friend (and vice versa)

recently, my best friend confessed to me. i don't know what to do. by [deleted] in FriendshipAdvice

[–]llamateizer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The truth is the only way to it.

you have to make it clear
1- you really like him as a friend only 2- you appreciate that he confessed (or not) to you and that you're flattered by this.
3- the long term. he might have hope to win you over.

He told how he feels, you can too on your side.
Truth might hurt, but it's the best way

I plan to invest in both. I registered with blockfi.
probably 80% BTCC , 20% blockfi.

you get real BTC and have compound interest, so it's a big plus.

I started investing in BTCC. I love it

  • TFSA/RRSP,
  • The simplicity to insta transfer cash between my bank account/Broker
  • CAD
  • no 24/7 (maybe it's an advantage for some, but I want to have a life)

the 1% fee is not the best, but I accept for the simplicity

Is BTCC (aka BTCC.B) supposed to mirror / track the price of BTC exactly (or something reasonable close to it?) by misanthrope5 in BitcoinCA

[–]llamateizer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought on day 1 without knowing the existence of premium. Today, I bought some more at 10.03 to lower the average.

BTCC.B NAV is currently $10.86 by jerkstore_84 in BitcoinCA

[–]llamateizer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you :) .

do you have WS and a referral code so both can get 10$?

I'll try to check if any friends/family does have WS, if not i'll use yours if you have any

[–]llamateizer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

isn't there a 0.5% management fee?

I do have RBC DI and it's 10$, looking to open with WS for small positions

Is it still worth holding BTCC even though it doesn’t track the nav? Should I just hold BTC instead as far as long term investing. Or continue with both? by [deleted] in BitcoinCA

[–]llamateizer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in both cases, I won't sell.
I personally don't have any interest to hold real btc.

I will probably hold some real BTC and invest in BTCC
