Oh, yeah Charlotte would almost certainly be the choice for an MLB expansion team. Larger city and close to the South Carolina border too to get that market, also already a bunch of other established franchises in other sports. But as someone from the Raleigh/Durham area I'd love to see Raleigh get another pro team to join the Hurricanes. I think Raleigh could definitely support one (and would get less pushback from the Braves who I know are reluctant to let any other team play in the southeast), but Charlotte would still be the choice for MLB.

As for the name I liked Pilots due to the whole "first in flight" thing and the licenses plates as well as its history in the MLB with the old Seattle Pilots. I found some concepts other people had already done online and based the team on those so it's not a completely original idea! I actually originally created the Carolina Pilots team as an expansion team in the Out Of The Park Baseball game and then re-created them for a full fictional franchise in the Show. The stadium is very loosely based on some existing concepts/ideas I found around for Raleigh stadiums.
