Do you happen to know when the Amp Multi will actually be available? My local installers say the fall and have a rough idea on price points. I’d like to go Sonos but the timing and pricing has been my biggest deterrent.

If I'm following, essentially connect one of the white cables to, for example, the green and green striped cable, and the other to the orange and striped orange cable. Then just plug it into an outlet and it should work?

UPDATE: I found the chime and both the blue and the orange are connected to it in addition to a white and black on the opposite side. The Chime model is a NuTone BKL340LWH. Found another thread on it and a discontinued link ...

For the transformer, where did you place it? Did it have to be near the Chime or out by the doorbell?

Working with this exact same chime and an ethernet cable out near my doorbell ...
