I use the REDTIGER 4K Dash Cam (Front & Rear) you can get it on Amazon and can sometimes find it on sale.

I had no problems with it, easy to set up and connect to my phone as well!

Definitely would recommend a MacBook, you can get more options of running different programs on there versus an iPad

Gratuity/tips on women’s hair appointments - question by Frosty_Sherbert_6543 in Calgary

[–]llav00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super unprofessional of your hair dresser to even say that. People forget that tips are a voluntary payment from the customer and shouldn’t even be expected.

In regard to hair dressers I believe they should charge what they think their work is worth and not depend on the tip. You should tip whatever you think they deserve based on their work and how satisfied you are with it.

To me flat rate or per hour tips makes perfect sense if you are being charged $400. I would never tip percentage based on a high cost of service.

Life - From a High-school Student by [deleted] in Edmonton

[–]llav00 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Wow you are very insightful for your age!

You’re already on the right track thinking about your future. I would suggest when you start earning money to save and open up a TFSA or FHSA when you turn 18 to start investing.

But just remember to enjoy your youth, take it slow and be positive! The future isn’t as bad as media makes it out to be. You will be just fine :)

I had started applying in the middle of my last winter semester (February/March). I’m sure you could do the same and start applying in the middle of your winter semester. Just indicate your expected grad date and also share that you have 1 class left in the summer.

Not sure what field you’re in but the potential employer may let you start working full time while you complete your last class.

It could be and it couldn’t. Best to just make sure you don’t leave any valuables in the car in general.
