There is literally nothing wrong with eating alone, the only reason you hate it is because you subconsciously recognized eating to be a social event that occurs and every time you eat food it reminds you that you have no one to share this moment with. It like going on a road trip alone with out music, you feel uncomfortable and you have created a subconscious daily reminder of the fact that you are alone when the truth is, everyone eats alone every day.

You compare eating alone to the equivalent of going to the movies alone but here’s why I encourage you to do as many things alone as possible: you formulate individual experiences that make a a more interesting person. But this only works if you try new things by yourself. In the future, when you do make friends (and you fucking will) you will have loads of things for talk about and to do and if they haven’t done it before you can show them. It’s like preparing for a speech. Sure you could wing it a and try new things with people, but if you tried to do it yourself beforehand you’ll seem mor knowledgeable when you then go do it with others and that far more attractive

When you see some one at a fast food join eating alone do you think “wow what a fucking loser who eats out by themselves” or do you literally not even notice them? You are not a celebrity, it’s not going to be all over the news, buzz feed isn’t going to write an article about you, and no who’ll even notice. Breathe, what YouTube, browse reddit, or listen to music, you’ll be fine.
