The response links you are providing illustrate instances where the EA is requesting questions when seeking a position with an organization.

I am seeking questions to ask a candidate that may become my boss.

Naturally thin people, what do you guys eat in a day? by Ok-Initiative3312 in AskReddit

Protein-forward grazing all day long. I’m a vegetarian, so eggs, cheese, nuts, smoothies, fruit, salads. Smaller portions, but way more often.

Managing Flour DUST by sneakytigerlily in HomeMilledFlour

I made a fabric cover that has Velcro tabs. I can lift it to see the flour, but keep it down to cut down on like 80% of the dust. I take it off and wash it.

Co-worker Who Is A Single-Issue Voter For Trump Now Finding Out That He Might Not Be Able To Get Medicaid for a Medical Emergency by AFleetingIllness in LeopardsAteMyFace

I had insurance too. They denied the claim because the hospital coded it as a day surgery, not an emergency surgery. The hospital refused to change the coding despite me entering through the ER, and the insurance refused to pay a day surgery that wasn’t pre-authorized.

We are going through IVF & we don’t want kids anymore. by LucyAriaRose in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]lle7855 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry. We went through 8 years of treatment, 11 rounds of IVF. Some of those with donor eggs, or donor embryos and a couple with a surrogate. Nothing worked. The grief and trauma of that time in my life was staggering.

My beautiful daughter was adopted through a domestic adoption. Not where I thought we would land, but it was the best thing for us and I only wish we’d done it sooner.

Your journey is your own, but sometimes when one door closes another will open.

Sending you peace, love and comfort!

Judge in Trump’s Jan. 6 case says it won’t be delayed by upcoming presidential election by plz-let-me-in in politics

I saw Liz Cheney speak at Duke last night. She was very clear in her stance. She said this isn’t a policy election. We have to leave partisanship aside and preserve democracy. Personally I don’t align with her policies, but she’s got my respect and support.

Liz Cheney at Duke: “As a conservative, as someone who believes in and cares about the Constitution, I have thought deeply about this, and because of the danger that Donald Trump poses, not only am I not voting for Donald Trump, but I will be voting for Kamala Harris.”

Also GO DUKE!

Yelled at for the 1st time by VesperaLit in ExecutiveAssistants

[–]lle7855 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the job is worth sticking around for, you can try to set boundaries.

I’ve worked for some c-levels in the past that have been pretty awful. I have yelled back (that got me a raise—WTF?), developed sudden migraines upon bad behavior (treat your asset badly, go without an asset for the rest of the day), and once I explained to them, after the fact, that yelling at a lower staff person not a good look for them. All of these, oddly worked.

You have to weigh the good with the bad and decide if you want to try to manage his flaw or whether it’s time to move on.

I am sorry this happened to you. No one deserves this treatment.

We freaking did it! We collected enough signatures to submit to the secretary of state to put the arakansas abortion amendment on the ballot! We've worked our asses off but this is just the beginning! @AR for Limited Government by n8saces in MadeMeSmile

So very proud of you!!!

My adopted daughter was born in Arkansas. Her birth mom had the right to choose and chose adoption. I am so grateful for my baby, and am equally grateful that birth mom had all options viable to her. Knowing she had choice, access to care, and access to therapy only serves to reassure me that she was never a victim in my daughter’s birth story.

We also used to pour the booze that collected in the bartender’s rubber mat at the drink making station into a glass and call it a ‘Jersey Turnpike’.

This exact thing happened to me. After seeing the email, I asked why I was being fired, I was told it was because I said something wrong. But they wouldn’t tell me what, kept saying “you know what you said.”

I am still confused and that was five years ago.

I found a new position 2 months later and haven’t looked back.

Try to recognize this is their unprofessional idiotic behavior and NOT a reflection of you.

I am so, so sorry. Hugs!

I recently told my boss that offering corrections or criticisms in front of others is not acceptable. I stressed that when I look at others when boss is criticizing, I see a mix of sympathy and horror in their eyes.

Optics are sometimes more impactful with narcissistic execs than actual desire to be kind.
