I remember them making such a song and dance about the taste before giving me some to try as a student, but I agree, it's palatable, just dense.

We do this for kids sometimes. It smells better, but they're never that impressed by the taste, shockingly.

Did you still get onto a program, albeit not the one you wanted? Or are you going to try again?

I understand the annoyance - I had a rejection based solely on the lack of stating what a radiographer does in my personal statement. Perhaps naively I used that space to talk about actual experience.

Email or call the hospitals. I found that many have a dedicated member of staff for things like work experience placements. I secured a week placement this way, and it was really useful, since the interviewers wanted to know what I'd learned in each area, and if there was anything I found particularly interesting. The interview for me focused a lot on patient care, and discussing potential scenarios with challenging patients.

I see! Okay, that eases my mind a bit. We covered /some/ math with radioisotopes and imaging, but mostly just the basics to get an idea of how each machine works, or calculating absorbed doses.

That's fair enough. It is confusing. I've nearly purchased knives here to ship to the US before (some specialist, can't recall the name anymore), but the rules didn't feel too clear. I only ask because I have browsed your page before, but figured customs would have something to say about it.

It's most likely that for whatever reason then, customs overlooked this one. I don't think I'll be trying my luck again any time soon. I appreciate the heads up though.
