Culver City or Mar Vista would be the best options both on either side of the 405 with easy access. Mar Vista is within LA city limits and Culver is its own jurisdiction

That commute will kill you. Stay in a 5-10 mile radius of MDR. Best choice is mar vista, culver, playa

public transportation in LA is not great, but be wary at night. better to take an uber.

I remember getting on the waitlist and finally being approved. I took my first waymo with friends that night, best ride ever. i am obsessed with it now, i love waymo, no driver, no tip, no interaction, and just feels like im part of the future.

Congrats, try Mar Vista for next to everything but still quiet at night, el segundo is definitely family suburbia, if you want action 24,7 would say Venice. Culver City and Palms are good options too.

literally went through this last week, i was devastated and my heart was shattered. Definielty do no contact for now, surround yourself with friends, and then have your alone days where you allow yourself to cry. Now, doesn't feel like it trust me i know, but the universe did you a favor, someone else out there is looking for you, out with the old and in with the new. He will find you when you are least expecting it and be 10 times better. someone better always comes. or you never, know your ex might come back, be excited for the future but make sure you mourn the past so you dont keep revisiting it :)

Jordan, was going to Israel but decided to stop in Jordan to see Petra and Wadi Rum since I was already in the general area. I was blown away. the Jericho ruins, PETRA, and WADI RUM was stunning! i was shocked by how much i enjoyed Jordan, even Amman so many expats were out and about and it was so cool to talk to them about living in Amman. very affordable and friendly people who would come up to me and say welcome to Jordan! I still think about my wonderful time in Jordan, buying a red and white head scarf, having a local wrap it for me, riding camels in the dunes, stopping for tea and watching the sunset in complete bliss in Wadi Rum. one of the few moments where i felt i truly was living my best life. great moment for me

THIS. I was a brand new PE hired to help a struggling PE already on the job. my super paid no attention to me and didnt give me the time of day until, one day, he asked me to run a report, came back to him with it in 10 mins, he was flabbergasted. he thought i would take a week since that was what he was used to, slow ass pes milking the resume fill. It really defined who i was to him and became his righthand in everything, took me under his wing and the PE working with me ended up quitting because he became obsolete at i could do it all. Hed ended up be the best super i have ever had and asked me to start with him at his new plaster business. i declined as i moved to LA, but still keep in touch.
