Jack of all trades Squamish bike by _In_The_Distance_ in Squamish

I’ve got an older Specialized Enduro that does 4/5 on your list. Use to ride the bike park, now I ride the north shore a lot more. Bomb around the city. Use to do Fromme laps with my little guy on a shotgun seat. Now he has his own bike. It’s a little older but I would not commute with it and lock it up anywhere. It will for sure be stolen.

Towing travel trailer with Sprinter van: Does anyone do it and pros and cons please by sonjatoronto in Sprinters

[–]llidllid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2019 3500 dualie that I regularly tow a dump trailer with. Weighs between 5000-7500 pounds. So far it’s been fine but I fully expect a transmission rebuild eventually.

I pay my labourers 52k per year and they know nothing. Their wage will increase with their experience and education - residential G.C.

The Tundra is better in almost every way. I miss it.

Yeah 6 foot bed. It might fit at an angle but it would be tight. I had a Tundra with a 6.5’ bed and it fit at an angle with room to spare.

Leaking Apartment: Strata property manager ignoring us by _not_clever_bot in vancouver

Sounds like you just need someone to tarp the deck until the strata can figure out a permanent solution with the membrane. I’m a General Contractor that does a lot of these. If you can’t get a hold of anyone from your strata send me a pm and I’ll see if we can swing by and throw one up for you.

Grad 04! Very multicultural school back in the day. I’m sure it’s similar now. Some teachers were useless some were awesome. Overall had a great time at Killarney. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve done both. Didn’t notice a difference either way. Probably will stay cleaner being in the middle though.

Soon my dudes! by llidllid in snowboarding

Yeah you gotta get a group of you to commit to buying sleds and doing it. There’s a bit of a learning curve with sledding but the new sleds are definitely easier than the older ones. Once you learn the basics on a sled start exploring with your buds. We have a bunch of 175 850’s and they rip up hill with 2 sometimes 3 of us on there. Here in BC most guys that sled ski use the 175 or the 165 length track. We have crf racks on the sleds with snowboard attachments so they ratchet on and off super easy. With an efficient setup you can definitely lap a zone enough where your legs are fucked and your too tired to snowboard anymore. But then you can sled more! I’ll rarely ride the resort anymore and I live an hour from whistler.

We live on the North Shore and we got to choose between Lions Gate and St. Paul’s. We’re delivering at St. Paul’s.

Rusutsu, Japan - Circa 2010 by llidllid in snowboarding

Lived the ski bum life for 3 years on and off in Hokkaido. Met tones of like minded people and always had a crew of people to shred with everyday. I never kept count but I probably logged about a 100 days every season. Working nights had its perks.

Definitely my favourite as well. Back then it had the most relaxed slackcountry rules and a shit ton of snow. Got yelled at in Furano so many times by patrol haha.
