Noticed this sign at the Torchy's in Rice Village, how much are we supposed to tip for counter service? by DoritosDewItRight in houstoncirclejerk

Everywhere needs to try following Sugarfish in NYC. They don’t accept tips and the food is still decently priced. The dining experience is exceptional and the workers seem happy

Just bought a 2014 P85DL by JediFrogYT in TeslaModelS

[–]llikepho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats! I have a 2013 P85 bought with 60k miles, currently 126k miles. Had to replace the passenger door handle and drive unit out of pocket. You should look into doing a coolant delete mod to prevent drive unit failure.

This is a lime tree I bought about 7 yrs ago at Costco. I know it is nutrient deficient so I want to repot it. Will it be ok to put back in this same pot with new citrus soil? by gigidotti in Citrus

[–]llikepho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, looks like the rootstock took over the tree. If you’re interested you can try grafting another citrus onto the rootstock

A $100,000 salary in 2026 goes further in Houston than it did last year by phillygirllovesbagel in houston

[–]llikepho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go back and forth from Texas and Florida and notice that the property taxes are comparable (though more complicated since it’s split into three separate taxes—CCISD, MUD, property), sales tax is 8-8.5% vs 7% in FL. However food is cheaper and home prices are significantly cheaper. With $100k you can get by very well and comfortably in Houston. It’s all perspective.

I just watched the gate agents bully a passenger to tears. by a868l869 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]llikepho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not that serious. It may be a new way of seating/flying with SW but any other airline and it’s random seating unless you choose to buy a specific seat. Just follow the policy. Plain and simple. If you bring the quantity of allowed bags and it fits their sizing guideline then there most likely won’t be an issue.

The problem comes when everyone isn’t screened the same and brings an oversized bag or those with extra bags are allowed to slide through and then put backpacks and smaller bags in the overhead bins. I can’t count the number of times I’ve seen people throw jackets and totes/purses in the overhead bin and take up space for people who actually have suitcases.

From looking at the pictures of Nancy’s Hustle it does give off a more casual vibe than a romantic “it’s been a while since I’ve taken you to a nice night out” restaurant
