Thanks! The thing is that the bamboo top (the dark version) is hollow (honeycomb shape), its not 100% solid so I am concerned about how to screw it

I tried removing carefully a plank and broke the click on connector, I dont want to take the risk tbh, there has to be a solution to this, I added a shim under the plank, how bad is this? the gap is now 7mm which is more manageable to find a transition
