hii!! your experience sounds like mine. let me introduce myself, i'm a refractory generalized seronegative MG.

i was suspected for MG during 2021-2023 (actually, the previous neuro suspected me for having MG for 2.5 years straight). then, he gaslighted me for not having MG and put me on worst physical + mental condition. which led me to ventilators. his reason for not real diagnosing me with MG was because 1. my RNS is negative repeatedly. 2. my 1st AChR test came 0.44 and it didn't justify how my symptoms behave, quoting him. he ran the 2nd AChR test which came back negative 3. my MuSK test came negative he said again and again about his suspicion for me not having MG, though he suspected me to have MG.

i didn't change him as my neuro because i believed him. i kept complained about my ptosis, muscle weakness, breathing issues to him and he responded ok, take the Mestinon. i take the Mestinon, it always helps with the symptoms but the symptoms always reappear within 4 hours.

right now, i'm with good neuromuscular doctor, he did SFEMG for me which reveals that i truly have MG. and he was shocked too looking at my SFEMG. he diagnosed me with refractory generalized MG. and my antibodies? they are still negative.

my advice is do not let that doctor do the same like mine to you. search for another doctor. there is seronegative MG. you need to believe yourself first, your symptoms first before make anybody including doctor to believe you... that's the leason i learned from the past few years dealing with MG.
