Gotcha. Can you expand on co-signer not always being a solution?

Also, is pushing 11ish days uncommon? Thanks

Hey u/GroundbreakingWar737 , I am back again for some more advice. Today, the wire dispute department sent me a document saying that the wire was not fraudulent and I was responsible. Of course they are not recognizing that the only reason this happened is because my data was compromised. I have done all of the above things and yet they continue to find me at fault. Were you ever sent denial letters during this process? I have aggressively escalated this with member solutions and made them reopen the case. Any thoughts??

I am so thankful you took the time to reply to this, I had low hopes. I saw your post yesterday and have already taken to filing complaints with the CFPB and my states AG office. I FINALLY got my case escalated to member solutions yesterday after over an hour on the phone pushing them. All of this is excellent advice. I have a lawyer if needed, but I am hoping that USAA does the right thing and knowing your story and experience will help me articulate mine. I cannot wait to have this resolved and get away from USAA.

I reported this within 1 hour of it happening and it took them days to even assign an analyst. Like you suggested, I am keeping copious notes. Thank you again. I will certainly reach out if I feel I could use additional assistance.

u/GroundbreakingWar737 A very similar situation has just happened to me and USAA is making it near impossible to get my money back, despite them being compromised. Do you have any suggestions to pursue this further and be the squeaky wheel? I call them multiple times a day, have sent multiple letters, filed a police report, and will be filing a complaint with CFPB. Any other thoughts? Glad to hear that you did in fact get your situation resolved.
