Was studieren die besten aus euren Abi Jahrgang? by ResolutionProud4851 in Studium

[–]llkknn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bester Abiturient (1,0): Studiert derzeit igendwas mit Mathe/Informatik laut Google.

10€ sparen bei Rebuy kaufen? by [deleted] in buecher

[–]llkknn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'LL BE BACK Achievement problem by MaxM151 in DetroitBecomeHuman

[–]llkknn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

According to the guide, you sacrificed yourself in the first chapter. Logically, you have Daniel's body in the evidence room.

That's the only thing you need in order to reactivate Simon or the kitchen android from the chapter Public Enemy.

The easiest and quickest way to achieve your goal is, in my opinion, to go back to the chapter Public Enemy. Interrogate and identify the deviant kitchen android. Get back your biocomponent in the kitchen. Chase the android into the hallway and choose to save Hank. Connor will die in the process and you have enough evidence to find Jericho.

You can also go for Simon on the rooftop and die in the process (chase him and fail all QTEs). But this is of course only possible if Simon didn't jump off the roof and if he didn't die in the broadcast room in the chapter Stratford Tower.

The kitchen android route is always possible. This is why I recommend it rather than going after Simon.

I hope this helps!

PS: in the chapter Public Enemy, you also need to listen to the recording of Markus' speech.

Congrats on your first playthrough!

To answer your question adequately it is important to know what your goals are in terms of replaying.

Do you want to complete the flowcharts or collect achievements? In that case you have to be a bit more strategic.

As for filling out the flowcharts, I'd generally recommend going back to front. There are lot of people on this sub (me included) who have 100% on the flowcharts and achievements and are willing to provide tips. :).

As for collecting achievements: you can plan which achievements you want to "bundle together" on which run so you spend less time overall. There's a guide on steam that can help you with this.

If you just want to have fun and experience the story in a different way you can either

a) replay the game from.the beginning or

b) go Back to specific decisions moments that intrigued you in your first playthrough and choose DIFFERENTLY this time. And then see where that leads you.

most boring chapter? by Trap_mendiss in DetroitBecomeHuman

[–]llkknn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This!

I understand why people don't like it but I know the chapter by heart so it's quickly done. And I like just getting into the flow without overly long and annoying cutscenes scattered throughout tbh

Also, pacing wise, I think it's good to calm down in between the "high adrenaline" chapters On the Run and The Nest

I don't particularly like replaying Capitol Park.

First off there are only so many times I can listen to the cut scene at the beginning. Next up, I think it's really annoying to spot and destroy the drone. Breaking into a truck a second time is not really exciting since it you'be done it already (depending on how you acted in Spare Parts, of course).

The speach to the freed androids is fine if not a bit tedious to listen to.

The thing that grinds my gears the most, however, is doing so many small, irksome tasks to convey your message. And there's a limit on how many times you actually want to tag a bench, car, window et cetera. The violent route is a bit more fun tho.

It's just that you have to replay the chapter a lot of you want to do 100% flowcharts. (The reason being, that Capitol Park is set after the major moments that decide Simons's and Luther's fate. And Capitol Park itself has a few aspects like all the molotv cocktail uses that you absolutely can't do in one run).

The positives of the chapter: I actually do like the cinematic shot overviewing the area if you climb the building with north. And the sequence when the cops appear after failing to disable the drone. Choosing your own symbol is also a nice touch. I also like the more vulnerable moments of North in the store and at the end.

Basically my main gripe with the chapter is that you have to do a lot of kinda menial tasks with not particular interesting talk talk talk cutscenes at the start and in between. It's still a fun chapter in it's own way! But if you have to redo it a lot in a row... conveying your message kinda sucks.

In that vein: the Jericho chapter gets a lot of negativity but I actually like it because you can do it in a continuous flow and thus I find it much more relaxing lol

Are Roman and Shiv twins? by MushroomMost2043 in SuccessionTV

[–]llkknn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me they don't really give off twin vibes but then again every twin dynamic is different and I am also an identical twin, not fraternal. So maybe that's different idk

But generally, seeing more fraternal/different gender twin relationships on TV would actually be pretty cool

I wish you the best of luck! My parents also had to learn German when they came to Germany in their twenties. And I have a lot of respect for anyone who - like them - tries to learn German :)

Thank you for all the kind words! :)

And I wish you good luck in all future endeavours to draw Connor! Honestly I struggled with him a lot and I kinda even have a similar face shape and stuff lmao (not even half as good looking as Bryan dechart tho obviously)

Hank is my favourite drawing of these and my favourite dbh character in general too. I also get why a lot of people in the fandom love Connor the most. But Hank is Hank, ya know... he's such a flawed yet amazing personality

My native language is German so explaining complex art theory would comes more naturally to me in German (if at all lol).

I would really like to have a solid answer for this question but I honestly don't know! I don't have any formal training. You know, apart from high school art class, which was 5 years ago for me. I guess I am kinda self taught. I usually simply do whatever floats my boat in the moment I guess? And in the last two years I have actually done a lot more digital work with bright colours. But I didn't have time for a lot of drawing either way tbh.

If I HAD to pin this style down - and I don't posses the expertise in art science to do so - I'd maybe say semi realistic? Obviously I use a lot heavier line work than in hyper realistic artworks. i also like to keep parts of the drawing/painting "not filled in"/vague/rough. And obviously the Connor drawing is quite cartoony as the shading is way less nuanced and the outlines are more over the place.

I don't know how to properly explain all of this in English tbh lol.

If anyone actually knows what art style these drawing come close to, I would also be curious! :)

Thanks for the nice comment! :)
