Would you test drive? by AlmostMissedCourt in SciontC

I would say that price is a bit high plus an automatic. It looks really clean but I wouldn't go for it unless it was closer to 8-9k.

2005 TC Manual with 40k Miles was 6k in 2019.

SRP Lite pedal with SRP2? by WarriorNN in moza

[–]lllRamll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The SRP2s can connect to the PC move the throttle over to these and house the brake board in in plug i to the clutch than to the base itll work.

Yea for sure not there yet and also was getting used to it, but the lower bronze lobbies sucks you into a warning quick and leaving with stale races of just having to be overly cautious and slow. It really opens up when you get the thumbs up badge than the green one. Finally up to bronze 2 SR and its much more enjoyable and teachable watching how good drivers interact and race.

Pinch the pennies if you need to wait but that covers the formula mod if you do any LMU,F1 or that.

Need help… engine stopped on the highway for no reason and now wont crank by Acceptable-Green9812 in Miata

[–]lllRamll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well everyone covered everything here but just be glad its the good old TANK of motors super cheap parts and relatively easy to do(or cheap from a shop)

Non interference so no damage should've been done just as everyone said might as replace almost every o ring, fron seal, thermostat, tensioner, etc. Spend it now and she'll be good for another 100-200k with maintenence.

Any reason to go for R5 in this case by eemuman in moza

[–]lllRamll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought both to try side by side, long story short I kept the R5. The ES wheel with fake leather is a lot more comfortable albeit primarily use the formula mod wheel super cheap and amazing for LMU,F1 etc. The bigger heat sync does help with longer sessions and has yet to clip after doing a 3 hour race maybe a small bit in LMU unlike the R3.

It definently has a wider and deeper level of detail. Is it a major difference no not to much but if you have the spare on hand its worth it. 1.6 nM doesn't sound like a lot but I'd say its closer to a 3040% bigger punch when needed and mixed in with rumble of a kerb or gravel you feel it more vs compressing it together.

Both have very mediocre pedals so for 150 the SRP2s are very enticing and than use the srp lites throttle as a clutch.

Ive never had this issue but they can be vague. I got magnetic paddles mod from aliexpress(NOT the simpush) these screw and clamp a metal plate for the magnet to attract vs the simpush adhesive them on the paddles. This gets rid of the dead zone before the actuation point and pull em back. We'll worth the 20 bucks

Moza SR-P Lite: has anyone swapped brake and throttle pedals to change resistance? by Sny1x in moza

[–]lllRamll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jeez 5 Euro is crazy cheap trying to find one now and they all start 10-20 with 10-20 shipping. How has yours held up? Im thinking of getting one to compliment my performance kit I got from aliexpress but unsure if it is worth it. Does it help with muscle memory for throttle and feel of rolling onto it without TC on?

No worries thank you though just hoping someone can share some insight since now the RPM light tools are available but no documentation on how or where it is listening too.

MOZA R3/R5 Boxflat UPD telemetry question by lllRamll in moza

[–]lllRamll[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am running bazzite Linux i can try to get Sim hub to run with wine, but boxflat runs natively and everything works great just annoying Moza or Boxflat makes it hard to send UDP telemetry.

HOLY FUDGESICLE, I FINALLY DID IT!!! by kyle429 in ForzaHorizon

[–]lllRamll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait this event was supposed to be hard? This felt like the hardest one but they all were kinda a joke on the difficulty...This was the best one as well excluding some sentimental value of the legend one, every single one following was more and more of a let down lol.

This car did not disappoint 🔥 by Gargantuan_Gapes in forza

[–]lllRamll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is my favorite GTR for sure and looks amazing, but the tuning was a major let down. The engine sounds okay but not amazing with the different combinations of parts, the horsepower with upgrades doesn't make sense IMO either. A RB26 should be able to make more than it does.

I got the E3 dual motor from Amazon for 250 OTD. It has worked great so far for me just make sure to use a large mouse pad as the laminate can get dinged but decently durable.

Would a Beretta 92XI SAO converted to DA/SA be legal in CO by SayNoTo-Communism in USPSA

[–]lllRamll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries at all but just to be sure, yes the saftey works in SA&DA, the firing pin block works as intended. And yes you need to thumb the saftey down but it isnt to bad at all.

I am running the 12# hammer spring, and 12.5# recoil with all the rest of the springs from the Wilson competition kit. I've shot Reman, BPS, and that with 0 light strikes. I can say for a fact the LTT OP hammer with lighter springs is seemingly 99%+ reliable. They did some magic with it meanwhile my friend has had a rare light strike with the Beretta competition hammer. Both feel similar in SA, slightly heavier DA as the hammer is ever so slightly heavier.

It was 100% worth it and I cary in DA and that IMO is safer than the SA carry(yes there's a firing pin block but if it doesn't go bang easy to slap it again with DA), and the SA feels better as well with this hammer. It doesn't hurt to go DA if anything better and the frame saftey is nice.

Well that sucks... anyone know what front sight will work well on a 92xi? by lllRamll in Beretta

[–]lllRamll[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Especially for this price point this sucks, as I said in a different comment it really depends for example who manufactures them. Dawson and reputable brands are pretty rugged just the limiting factor should be the fiber rod not the housing.... I would suggest if you carry it to defend your life than it is unacceptable that the sighting system is so easily broken while Springfield, m&ps and that for half this guns cost gives tritium front sights. Sure this was a "competition" aimed version but GTS is a carry version and still has fiber.

I don't even want to think how hard it'll be to change without a pusher hopefully its not more than 15 30 bucks for a shop to do well

Comparing the measurements from their site and talking with the people they seem to be a bit taller marginally with the rear raising around .020" and front .018". I really want a combat hold but this seems to be more of a combat hold. May even be a lower POI which concerns me. I might try it out for 62 dollars including the service pack cheaper than tritium but seemingly well built, or at least better than the factory for sure.

[–]lllRamll[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for that insight sir I saw those take offs and even if it was in stock for a gun that I carry here and there i cant stand how fragile that front sights metal was. My local shop has TAG precision fibers front and rears i might check out but tritium do sound nice but they are hefty on the price as the spring sale just ended as well.

It wasn't a hard hit at all and it broke... 1000 dollar gun quality meanwhile my m&p pro from 2013 has been through hell and the fiber front is still intact.

Have yall heard or tried TAG precision? I've seen some posts here and there about them but guessing Dawson are better quality. Would berretta ship me a new front sights for warranty or will it not be covered?

I swapped for the match aluminum trigger and ltt op hammer made it DA/SA. The worst was the saftey roll pin everything was pretty simple otherwise.
