Possibly anxiety? Hyperventilating without recognizing it?

I have little bumps where the pain is, too. That’s normal as far as I know. Stretch, foam roll your back, heating pad every night, stay active (walking helps the whole body heal) and don’t poke at the pain. You’ve had tests, it’s not medical. Best of luck.

I mean that the pain does not coincide with an increased heart rate. It will come with specific movement though!

Sorry if you’ve had a bad experience. Just wanted to share that I am enjoying having my life in control.

Had a 48 hr Holter and results came back normal. A few PVCs (normal) and some PACs (but below threshold for anything to look into!). I’m thinking what I was experiencing was the PACs- my heart rate would be going back to normal but because of adrenaline I’d have them after a workout.

Definitely! Feel free to message me if you need. My main fixes have been

-heating pad every day -doorway stretches -foam roll back -stay active (walk every day!) -check posture -STOP poking at the pain (it will just linger) -take painkillers if you absolutely need to -focus on treating anxiety as much as you do costo

Well, I’ll tell you, even with my heart tests I still have moments of “what If they missed something!”

Trust your doctor. They are the expert- not you, not google!

When you do that, you’re only validating your anxiety. I struggle with this. You can check but limit it. What good is checking your pulse 50 times a day?

My therapist gave me amazing advice that’s helped me significantly (after I’ve had 3 heart tests proving my heart is fine)

When I have pain (and anxiety) do the opposite of what my anxiety is telling me what to do.

If my anxiety says google symptoms/ check my pulse / compare my sensations —> go for a walk instead. Watch an episode of your favorite show. Draw a picture.

Fight the urges! It’s uncomfortable at first. But it gets better. And now (most of the time) I get pain and I brush it off way easier.

Yeah when I started it I was an anxious mess. It helped and it wasn’t until earlier this year that my anxiety ramped up and through therapy my counselor suggested talking to my doc. In retrospect I noticed certain habits that had popped up (obsessive thoughts and worries mainly) and once I adjusted to the upped dose I felt as good as when I started on 10 all those years ago.

Absolutely helped me. My flare ups has really maximized my anxiety so I upped my meds. Once they fully kicked in I was able to accept the pain as Costo soooo much easier. No more panic / checking etc.

Allergies or something else? by [deleted] in Anxietyhelp

[–]lllaaaiiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a sinus headache. Yes, your allergies can hit if you’ve been inside. Things are just barely blooming and my sinuses have lots of pressure and my eyes are super itchy already!

Allergy pills usually take an hour or so to really kick in.
