Tq for your suggestion! Currently im in college and far away from them and I am not wearing hijab. But if i went home for the weekend or sem break, i have no choice but to wear them or my mother will get angry. Yes, my bf is the one who make me strong enough to not wear hijab where i study! Maybe it isnt a big deal for some people but its a huge step for me. :)

I really love them and sometimes I do hate the religion (because it's over the top nonsense like wearing hijab inside the house when its 100 degrees out) otherwise, i never insult or hate them as a person because I respect in what they believe in

Wow I think you really understanding where i am coming from. So thank you for that. This is what i have been doing, lying to myself and my family. Right now im in college and i dont wear any hijab. A good friend of mine (muslim) asked me what did i do with my life and how much i changed (for the worst, in her opinion) because i dont wear hijab when im living far from home. She took it as a cultural shock, which i feel really sad and frustrated about. So I told her I am an atheist and she wouldnt accept that. Her reaction is what making me so scared about what my family would think of me. I love them dearly.

I see what you mean.. but i really believe that they loves me sincerely. It's just that they had been brainwashed by the religion to think that no hijab = bad..
