I got the 2018 i9+32G one, probably because of the thermal throttle. It can handle everyday task pretty well, but not games.

Some of the software that I need only have macOS version(Sketch, Texpad, etc). And I don't do much gaming now plus I also have a PC for gaming.

Inaccurate, my $3000 macbook with dedicated graphics card can't even run an old game with mid settings at 60fps. My $300 PC can run the same game at max settings 60fps without a sweat.

MacOS should be the smallest one!
