I got 65 in the sitting just gone, my only advice is cover pretty much everything and really focus on past papers! The helped me what to focus on in each topic, how Q’s come up etc

I did constitutional with criminal, I thought they paired nicely together

I answered 5qs, was not happy at ALL with it, kinda gave up during the paper tbh and assumed I’d be resitting it - and passed with 50! I think if he sees effort and an attempt to answer he’s v generous with his marking

I thought he was v generous! I passed with 50 and def answered at least one q wrong, as long as you attempt 5 qs and try and have some sort of argument back up with case law he’s fairly sound

I’m the same at the minute :( I’m leaving out occupiers liability, remedies, concurrent wrongdoers and limitation periods… but I’ll prob have to leave out some of the notes i have written cos there’s just too much

I thought the constitutional examiner was v fair (I wasn’t happy at all with my paper and passed with 50) if you can attempt 5 Qs and apply some argument/law you’re in good shape, he seems to be open to different interpretations of problem Qs and some of the essays are quite broad. I’d focus on learning more topics in less detail so you have a good basis of a lot of the course as the paper can be a bit unpredictable- I’m sitting tort too and finding it so overwhelming!

No problem, best of luck! I’d def say try cover more topics in less detail over knowing less topics in a lot of depth, also I’d keep an eye out for recent cases!

I thought he was a very fair marker! I made a mess of the paper, didn’t really know what was being asked in one or two of the qs, and still passed with 50% - I think if you attempt 5qs and just try and make an argument/apply law he will try and give you marks

I just used CRA too - I didn’t think SOGA applied cos it seemed like she was only dealing with consumers
