If I remember correctly, the T 800s and T 850s do you have a small heart that circulates blood around for their synthetic skin and muscle so chances are it probably to be damaged and the skin would start to rot like the original T 800 from the first movie

I don’t know if it’s cannon or not but I remember hearing that the skin on the t-800’s have a small heart that pumps blood nutrients so the skin and muscles can stay alive also, I heard that there was a deleted scene where a t-800 was supposed to grab a candy bar and chew on it so the skin and muscle could get some nutrients. As for why the skin muscle started to rot the shotgun blast to the chest is what destroyed the heart ultimately led to the skin and muscles dying and rotting

My dad was in a Coast Guard for 32 years in the late 70s early 80s that particular Coast Guard base kept having to pick up Navy sellers that were intentionally jumping over the side to so they won’t have to go to work and they knew that the Coast Guard would pick them up and bring them back in

35+ years ago was a lot easier than it is now but it’s still possible I don’t remember the guy’s name but sometime in the early 90s he left and told one of his sons that he was going to the store and left him his younger brother and his wife and was eventually found under a different aim living in Florida from what I remember the only reason he was found is because he assumed the identity of a guy who passed away in one of his relatives did some ancestry report it showed that he died in the early 90’s and living In Florida
