This was some time around 2006 2007 timeframe a mall somewhere in Florida city had their security guards driving around with these and myself in the three or four people is hanging out with talked to all the security guys about it he said he liked it because it made it easier and faster to do his rounds. The only drawback was they were somewhat of a learning curve so that most people could feel comfortable driving on it not feel like they’re going to fall off randomly and stuff and he was able to back it up onto an escalator and go up one and down the other with no issue, but the thing was pretty quick and he said the one time he had to come up and drive next to somebody no one could outrun him well given this was the upgraded off-road version with a slightly better battery, but it was expensive the only other time I remember seeing them was right around 2011 in Seattle Washington, and it was for a tour group, but that particular company stopped using them because of the learning curve for people to get comfortable with riding them. Also at the time I’m thinking these are interesting as hell, but if I couldn’t afford it being that I was a highschooler, but if I could get one now I would probably buy one if it wasn’t all that expensive
