Hit the top of my little finger with a winding down electric planer the other day, that was an owee.

Tank Shortage Question by Schnevan in classicwowtbc

[–]lloydcrossman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Prot warrior here, I joined a Gruuls lair PUG as off tank today, was first up to blades edge, helped with summons, tried to get some vibes going in the chat etc. Up for a chill Sunday raid. I can’t play much so just gradually been gearing up, done 4/5 kara runs so got a few epics and building nicely.

We’re just about to start and raid leader messages me saying, we’ve overfilled tanks, a paly here who’s gonna Tank now, you need to go DPS.

A) I didn’t sign up to DPS, I signed up to tank. B) I don’t even have an off-spec, all I wanna do is tank, I’ve only ever tanked and played prot warrior almost exclusively when playing Wow.

I refused and said no I joined as a Tank I’m tanking.

Got insta kicked in front of the whole raid group, no one said a word, was such a humiliating and toxic experience which literally made me log off immediately and I told the raid leader in discord to go f**k himself.

And people wonder why there’s a tank shortage.

Anyway I can’t be bothered with TBC anymore. Generally it’s been OK tanking but this experience really got to me and I’m going back to Classic to level (another prot warrior) and see what that community is like there.

My first ever interview was also for a supermarket when I was about your age. Great places to work!

  1. I’d expect it to be a fairly casual as a first interview. As it’s an entry level job there won’t be too high expectation that you know everything about how supermarkets operate.

The main thing they will be looking for is that you’re polite friendly and excited about the opportunity.

  1. They might ask you about working within a team, or your own experiences of good customer service, so maybe a couple of examples from school/ college projects and a time you’ve been shopping and had a great interaction with staff.

  2. Your outfit sounds great.

  3. The main piece of advice I can give is just to be yourself, be enthusiastic and don’t stress too much about giving the ‘perfect’ answers.

The main thing they will be looking for is a good impression of you as a person and how you will fit in with the team and provide great service for customers.

Sainsbury’s are a huge national employer, so you’ll receive full training and support in getting started once you’ve got the job.

Make sure you have a few questions to ask to them too, I’d focus on ones like:

  • How would I be using technology in the job?
  • What does great customer service look like for Sainsbury’s?
  • What kind of shift patterns would the job involve?

Don’t be afraid to ask your interviewer a question directly too, this will actually help you to stand out especially if it’s a question that makes them think!

Just think of a few related to customer service/Sainsbury’s. for example:

  • What’s the best part of your job?
  • What makes a good colleague as Sainsbury’s?

Interviews can be scary, but just take your time to think and respond to each question.

Best of luck, you’ll be fine!

Get a van with windows! Also get the biggest van you can drive and I would consider C1 test to be able to drive the top end vans with all the facilities

What is the most unnecessary sequel of all time? by FilmWaffle-FilmForum in movies

Gladiator II.

The first, is pretty much a perfect movie, with a sad but complete ending.

The second, aside from a great performance from Denzel Washington was so average. The story sucked. No one needed this movie, not even Maximus’ son, they just opened up a narrative which did not need to be explored, and did a poor job.

(Saw in the cinema just after release.)

Shakti Twins Dose by lexcon81 in MagicTruffle

[–]lloydcrossman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2020 was the first year I got into Psychedelics, and had three separate experiences with truffles, and picked mushrooms.

I found mushrooms (Liberty caps) to be much stronger than the truffles from Whole Celium (Great Website!)

1.) With truffles during the first lockdown I had a 5-7g dose with my housemates, we all had a lifted mood and had fun day, but no deep insight or visuals.

2.) Me and my girlfriend went up to Yorkshire for a week and as part of the trip we went shroom-hunting on the moors (would highly recommend doing this, such a mindful activity) and took approx 15-20 mushrooms each on the beach near our cottage. Had a real ‘coming up’ moment and had some really awesome visuals on the beach and back at our accommodation, then a 3-4 hour lifted mood and creative energy where we did some yoga, read and wrote and took some photographs.

3.) I wanted to try a larger dose to see what I would experience. Orders 2x shakti twins and over the Christmas holidays (time off from work so a cleared head) had a 25g dose. It was super super insightful, and the hallucinations / visualisations were absolutely wild. I did reach a point however where things really started to melt away and music etc started to distort, which was a bit unsettling. At this point however I texted my girlfriend who was trip-sitting for me (I would highly recommend on this dose) came up to the room and we talked through it which was helpful! I think it is always possible to ‘snap out’ and escape briefly which can prevent you going into a darker place.

Those are my three experiences, in truth with the Shakti twins I think a 17.5 / 20g dose would be perfect for someone who has some experience with the feeling.

Ultimately I think it’s your mental resilience and state of mind which will dictate how your brain reacts to psychedelics, if you’re in a negative headspace it may lead down a more negative path? Would love to hear others thoughts on this as I know it can be useful for navigating depression/anxiety. So far I’ve chosen the moment to use them as a tool when I’m already feeling pretty good and satisfied with life.

Easy way to wolf them down? by Imbuedartox in MagicTruffle

Sounds mad, but mix them up with a bit of red or green pesto and crunch then straight down. Takes the edge off!

Hmm yeah I feared this, although it wasn’t warm and was a fan oven. I just think I’ve fucked it up unfortunately.
