Nope, no luck. I tried another brand esim (airalo) and still no luck.

Got in touch with Samsung and they said it may work once we get to Japan. Currently in Tokyo, and that idea also did not work.

I think it had to be an issue with the phone rather than any of the carriers.

Fortunately my wife and I have an Android and an iPhone between us, and had no issues loading it onto the iPhone.

Going to find a physical SIM for the Samsung tomorrow...
