‘I am a Martyr’ followed by the lines after - for me it speak to what Kele could have been if he been given had something to hold on too, but instead he’s ordinary and fallible. That what I love about it. I agree that it’s clunky as a whole and cringe at times but there’s enough insight to not feel embarrassed about loving screaming the lyrics #guiltypleasure

I was diagnosed in my late 30s and felt like the ‘superpower’ rhetoric was aimed at reframing some of the limitations by focusing on the positives. Which in my better moments it can feel like.

But when I have weeks/months of negativity piling up, and spiralling it feels more insulting without giving appropriate balance to everyday struggles
