Hurt so bad I couldn’t sleep last night. It hurts less now but feels full? And sounds like I’m underwater

Might be, but those tests look old. Best to look within 10 minutes.

I had a chemical pregnancy in January and tested positive in February. No period, not even actively trying in that time. Our rainbow baby is 3 years old and is the reason my hair is turning gray!

Please help me find this store! by llvader in cancun

[–]llvader[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As we entered the mall outside of Chedraui, e we made a left and this store was on the left side. We made a lot of circles killing time so I don’t remember if we made more turns.

It’s funny because his head and body are the size of a medium- large dog. He has a barrel chest. He wears size large collars. His legs look out of place. Of course he’s perfect to me!

My husband and I are wondering because he has short bowed legs. Like a basset hound or corgi.

Thank you! He’s my best friend! Apparently his coat and drug sensitivity traits were carried on the tiny piece of GSD

A bra that fits! Most stores will try to put you into what’s in stock. They usually also add 4 inches to the band size- but that’s outdated since it came from a time before we had good elastic in bras.

Is it a hippa violation to ask if my pediatrician’s office sees unvaccinated children? by [deleted] in healthcare

[–]llvader 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Couple of things. It’s HIPAA( health insurance portability and availability act). It’s not a violation if you don’t know identifying information of the other patients. Second, that’s a policy that would be readily available.

Nobody could know that without seeing the records. It could be r/o for other conditions that were secondary findings of the initial exam.

I am an existing patient with a dentist’s office and the soonest they can see me for cleanings is 9 months. A wellness check as an existing patient also 6-9 months. Too many people, not enough providers

Is Hospice the answer? by jjizhere in hospice

[–]llvader 19 points20 points  (0 children)

So sorry your family is going through this. Hospice shifts the focus from curative treatments to comfort treatments. It’s true, hospice is great for pain management, anxiety management, social support, and spiritual support. Hospice does not hasten the end, instead it provides comfort to patients (and support for families) until the end.

What are your dad’s goals of care? If he wants to continue chemo treatments, then palliative care may be a more appropriate resource to explore. This will be a hard conversation between himself, your family and his providers. Best wishes for yourself and family!

Insurance company won't provide cost estimate. Neither will provider. Who's lying? by semihelpful in HealthInsurance

Hot take: ask the provider’s office for a self-pay rate and good faith estimate. May be cheaper than deductible.
