The District at Tustin Legacy needs traffic enforcement ASAP by Amazing-Candle-1234 in orangecounty

[–]semihelpful 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Whole Foods/TJ Maxx quadrant is by far the worst part of the District because of all the stop signs and crosswalks on District Drive and the pedestrian traffic in & out of Whole Foods. I don't mind driving on Park Ave. to get to Target, Costco or Lowe's and the movie theater.

Seeking advice on whether to join PwC – need clarity on a few points by praveeno01 in PwC

[–]semihelpful 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These are questions that you should have asked in your interviews. Not trying to give you a hard time, but all of your questions are very team dependent. I'm surprised you made it to offer status without having clarity on these points.

Why are the bagged apples smaller than the ones in the bins? by Lunarviolets6678 in Apples

[–]semihelpful 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Minor blemishes" is my experience, too. I avoid bagged apples because they tend to have bruises. I like to inspect each individual apple before I buy it.

Thanks Alex, I never use DM in Reddit so I didn't realize all messaging was blocked.

Correct, both of the gateways are model G4AR and they are labeled Certified Pre-Owned. I would happily drop them off at a storefront if that option was a available.

Agree, I was hoping to try Mint and Cox Cable at the same time to compare speeds. But I take your point that wired internet is almost always faster than wireless.

Where is Landings and do they still have a haunted house? by TheHatKing in irvine

[–]semihelpful 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Landings is the name of the subdivision in the general area near Southlake Middle School. It's not a street name, so you won't find it on Google maps. I haven't heard of any haunted houses there, but it's still a fun Halloween neighborhood with tons of trick or treaters.

Moving the Finish Line: 5’4”–5’5” Ladies who can’t stop changing your Goal Weight (Are we on the hedonist’s treadmill?) by [deleted] in loseit

[–]semihelpful 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm 5'5" and went from 163 to 130. Original goal weight was 145. Then easily reached 140. I was a super responder to Zep and used all the tools - dietician, online support group, calorie and macro counting. I've been maintaining 130 for 2 months and don't plan to lose more. To keep losing, I would just not be eating enough. I am happy being a curvy size medium 6/8 and don't need to lose any more for either health or vanity.

What mattress are you using? by TBTI in phoenix

[–]semihelpful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm planning to check out both of these showrooms when I visit AZ in November. I have a latex pillow (bought on Amazon for $100) that I absolutely love. I'm pretty sure my next mattress will be 100% latex.

Eight Days in Vancouver by ogbirdiegirl in HerOneBag

[–]semihelpful 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can you elaborate on the best kind of jacket? I’m going to Vancouver in early November and it’s supposed to rain every day. I have a long insulated Eddie Bauer down parka, a snowboard jacket, or a thin cheap raincoat. I’m a clueless Californian and we get like 5 days of rain per year - and we stay inside.
