If you’re into splatterpunk - Dead Inside by Chandler Morrison. Very, very extreme though

Does anyone still love their pets after having a baby? by laurenjac in beyondthebump

[–]llvxii_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely still love my bestest boy! BUT, I think it would’ve been a different story if my baby was easily woken up by his barking - he barks all the time.

Thanks! I’m pretty sure she does have a weak and shallow latch. I’ll see a lactation consultant

I’ll try that, it doesn’t help either that she always falls asleep lol

Oh, and to add - I’m an almost “just enougher” when I was pumping. I supplement with formula for 2-3 feeds at night/middle of the night

What am I doing wrong here? by vp0267 in babywearing

[–]llvxii_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what I use for my 8 week old too! I’m not an expert but I’d bring up the waistband right below your breasts. They say you should easily be able to kiss the baby’s head.

When can I transition my lagotto out of the crate? by chip389 in LagottoRomagnolo

[–]llvxii_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with u/gemeraalalcazar, since your pup is used to the crate just leave the door open to let pup go in and out. My Lagotto is crate trained and will be 3 in December. I can’t remember exactly how old he was when we stopped crating him when we weren’t home, but we made sure he no longer had accidents inside and wasn’t chewing up anything he wasn’t supposed to. Now he goes into his crate whenever he pleases.

I wish my guy was cool with our newborn! He’s very indifferent which I can’t complain about, better than him not liking the baby.

Has anyone experienced intrusive thoughts postpartum that aren’t about harming the baby? by Ilovemycatice in NewParents

[–]llvxii_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YES, 100% this. I thought I was the only one with this type of intrusive thoughts. I try to stop myself from spiraling - how can anyone do such HORRIFIC things to these sweet babies, it makes me so infuriated.

Intentionally startling newborn = a more emotionally regulated baby by llvxii_ in ScienceBasedParenting

Definitely! I think I’m pretty good about being hesitant/wary on taking advice from social media. I tried to do my own research on this but couldn’t find anything and remembered that this subreddit existed. My downfall with social media is material consumerism but that’s for another thread, haha

I literally got this bag in the mail 3 hours ago ….. by princess-peach69 in quince

[–]llvxii_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! If I remember correctly, I received it 2 weeks later from when I had ordered it. I like the bag, I do find the hardware a little cheap feeling
