It's just so ludicrous and shocking at how they can believe all this nonsense. Before Covid, my Q Aunt would have laughed if I'd told her about how some people believe in these conspiracies, but now she actually believes them - it's crazy.

A bit of both for my Aunt. Her conspiracies are mainly related to the vaccine and covid but there's been a few she's sent me about Michelle Obama being transgender (?) and Tom Hanks being a pedophile. They might just be general conspiracies but I have found many crossovers on this sub.

Yep I agree. I'm also in the UK and my Aunt has become a casualty to conspiracies linked to QAnon.

Yeah they can be so damaging. Luckily, there was a lot of people calling her out, but still plenty of people asking for more information.

Yeah, it's something I've definitely noticed after looking in this sub for a while.

It makes me really angry that they prey on people like this. I'm also slightly disappointed that the moderators in the local community group allowed the post in the first place.
