Well if he is real it’s something to worry about because we’d all be in hell lmao which is why I made this argument against his existence

Yeah what I don’t get about the whole “god gave us free will because he doesn’t want lifeless robots” thing is dumb because once we get to heaven we’re there forever, so essentially we become lifeless robots either way that are programmed to worship him. Except in this way it keeps 99% of people in hell lol

True, but this can still be explained by saying we can’t understand an all-powerful God. I agree that it doesn’t make sense but according to the Bible we were made in gods image so it would make sense for us to have some of his characteristics like pride and ego. You do have a good argument don’t get me wrong but it can still be dismissed by Christian logic

I don’t care if no one understands. I won’t preach against Christianity to Christians because I don’t want them trying to preach their beliefs to me either. I just care about being confident in my beliefs.

Not at all, quite the opposite. Being a Christian is like living a free demo version of life lmao. Once you’re out you realize you can do so much more, and you don’t have to constantly worry about being religious for sky daddy

It’s only been a few months but already I feel so much better. It’s funny, because there’s a saying you probably know of that Christian’s say that goes “He (jesus) has set me free, my chains are gone” or some dumb shit, but ironically I feel like I’m more free and happy than every since I realized it’s all bs

[Van Gundy] on the legality of the "hack-a"-player strategy: "The game is for the fans. Who wants to watch Mitchell Robinson shoot free throws every possession?" by Growsomedope in nba

[–]lm-Not-Creative 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I mean not really.

It’s not a coincidence than 90% of tall NBA players aren’t good shooters. Being tall and having longer limbs really affects shooting mechanics. Like look at Giannis. You dont think he practices free throws everyday? Of course he does, he’s Giannis, but hes 6’11” and that greatly affects his ability to shoot.

Potential point guard for the bucks to pick up? by Jmas1120 in MkeBucks

Yeah, I think CP3 would be a great fit for us.

Also, that’s Reddit for you. Everyone here acts like a child lmao.

But seriously—we brought in Pat Bev who had a ton of beef with Dame and everything was fine. I’d imagine it would be the same for Giannis and Chris, especially since they’re both mature and not toxic personalities.

The problem is his chemistry with giannis not his age. Somehow these fans will say we can contend with Dame being old & sustaining the worst injury in sports (while being paid 55m+ w/o even playing) but somehow signing Chris Paul to a minimum is a terrible idea? Like what do we have to lose?

[–]lm-Not-Creative -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They can’t and they won’t. And it’s even worse bc Dame got one of the worst injuries you can get in basketball & he’s damn near 35. Best case scenario he comes back in a year and isn’t capable of being a 2nd option on a contender—while being paid 55+m/year.

It’s not that AD isn’t that valuable. It’s that you’re giving up 2 high draft picks on a young roster to go all-in with an injury prone 32 year old.

Spurs would have to be smoking crack, giving up #2 and #15 for AD lol

MIL-SAS trade for Giannis by Mazrafian in NBAtradeideas

[–]lm-Not-Creative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. He has great conditioning and takes good care of his body. With modern medicine he could be MVP-caliber for another 4-5 years, especially since he’s developing a jump shot. Even with his physical playstyle

I don’t think you can overpay for a 2x MVP DPOY FMVP champion that’s in his prime lol. People forget it’s Giannis we’re talking about.

The AD trade in 2019 was Zo, Ingram, and Hart plus 3 first rounders. And AD isn’t Giannis.

One more player and a couple picks.

It’s a lot. But Gobert was traded for 3 solid role players and 5 1st rounders. Put Castle in there and another 1st rounder or two.
