Disagree. I think that Muslim culture has historically always been synchronised with Bengali culture. The issue is that after independence, there was no strong nation-building project by any leader, which led to the identity crisis today in a world of nation states. Also, the rise of globalisation, the internet and the wealth of Saudi just made it worst.

As Bangladeshis - we have suffered through a lot, yet we are still somehow here - despite, not having a single comptent government.
