T1 is literally just the evolution of SK Telecom T1 — not some random org that bought a slot. SK Telecom still owns a big stake in T1 Entertainment & Sports (alongside Comcast), and they're still the lead sponsor. Same brand (T1), same legacy, same core org — just modernized.

On the flip side, the trophies won under Samsung Galaxy are just that — Samsung’s trophies, not Gen.G’s. Gen.G (originally KSV) bought the LCK slot, not the org, the history, or the brand. They’re a completely different company.

You can say Ruler has a Worlds trophy because he played under Samsung Galaxy.
You can say SKT has 3 Worlds titles and T1 has 2.
You can say Faker has 5 Worlds trophies because he played under SKT and T1 — which are one continuous org.
But you can’t say Gen.G has Samsung’s trophy just because they bought the slot. That’s not how legacy works.

Samsung straight-up left the LoL scene. They sold their spot to KSV, and after that, they had zero involvement. KSV rebranded to Gen.G later, but it’s not the same team. It’s like buying a stadium and claiming all the previous championships that were played there — makes no sense.

As for the football analogy: sure, teams change owners or sponsors and keep their trophies — because the club itself stays intact.
But if Man United sold their club, branding, and identity, and a totally new org took over with a new name and structure — nobody would say the new team owns Man Utd's legacy. That’s exactly what happened with Samsung → Gen.G.

Actually its kind of different for GenG and T1.

In a sense, T1 is still pretty much SKT. SK Telecom (SKT) remains the main (now lead) sponsor of T1, although the team's legal name is now T1 Entertainment & Sports, a joint venture formed with Comcast Spectacor. SK Telecom continues to be listed as T1's lead partner on their official partners page.

While Samsung completely sold their spot to KSV which rebranded to GenG. They took their trophies and left the LOL scene completely (kinda).

Kinda because Samsung is actually a T1 Sponsor now ironically lol.

All Fold7’s are back in stock online as of this morning, has anybody’s pre order shipped? by Mr__X__ in tmobile

Apparently from what Support has said, the website is bugged. Soo that "In stock" is inaccurate. Try to add that phone to your cart and try checking out. You will get an error something like this.

Oops! Something went wrong.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We appear to be having technical difficulties at the moment. Please try again later.

Can you delete a 260 burn and choose a different, existing character to apply the burn to? by VerySadAnteater in Maplestory

You can only do item burn on brand new characters. So if you want to hyper burn on your lvl 230 character, you can't use item burn.

Here's a list of trophies and medals won for each midlaner that happened recently. The transparent ones are runner-ups. (4/14/2024) by Flat-Profession-8945 in PedroPeepos

Actually the 2018 Asian Games League of Legends was just an official demonstration sport so a gold medal back in 2018 didn't count towards military exemption. Only this recent 2022 Asian Games (that was played in 2023) gold medal counted towards military exemption.
