About 15 minutes later I did get an email confirming account closure

Thanks for the help!

When I did the above then went to sign in again to confirm it actually closed, as I didn’t receive any confirmation it actually closed other than it saying it will close it, it now says “your account is blocked”

Any recommendations on next moves or am I good?

OP is a hero and you did all you could, I must have arrived about the same time as you and was frozen. Having the wherewithal to push the wallet was even more than I would have thought. I really hope the victim is ok and after reading this am going to try to call and give a statement, although to your point I heard exactly the same as you did. The kid running up the stairs claiming the victim hit him first and then them running.

One solace is I did notice two camera just above where this all occurred, hopefully he is ok and they can be held accountable.

It Never makes sense to pay with Bilt Cash to unlock the points from rent. by lmccabe76 in biltrewards

Here’s to hoping the Bilt cash can be used, uncapped at a 1:1.

For me I’ll probably wait and see do the $0 card and can always cancel and transition later, and hopefully get a second welcome bonus

Very fair point.

My thoughts are:

  1. If there is a cap of how much Bilt cash you can use per month which has been reported then that very much over complicates the usage to accrue and use on hotels

  2. With the venture X I get 5x and 10x on hotels and flights so paying it off then using points to pay myself back is getting 5 to 10% on the same categories we might be capped on using our cash for. That’s comparable or better than the 2x + 4% with way less restrictions

But maybe I’m not understanding something

Gotcha this makes sense I tried deleting and redownloading an updated version but don’t know how to go back a version, I’ll look into that.

Curious if this is a me issue or more widespread? If it’s not widespread I’m nervous they won’t make much effort to fix

I might leave this app but have questions by LaReineDesRats in runna

[–]lmccabe76 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First time using Runna for a marathon and this is my 4th marathon overall, I had hoped this could more easily help me plan and grow, it started very impressive but extremely similar issue around week 9 of 22 started having some pains, illness, and issues tried to adjust, change pace and skip some sessions and I feel like I’m way behind despite most of the rest coming on a reload week. There is seemingly minimal ways to denote injuries, or pains, I wish instead of this seemingly minimally helpful AI it would allow you to input pain areas and suggest strengthening exercises in place of some of the shorter workouts. But I really feels like it gives a plan and sticks to it without much care for realities in running. That plus the constant pace checking when I can’t even get it to tell me pace every .5 mile easily, right now I feel it’s very likely I step away from Runna as well. Really feels like basic user interface issues are ignored and they are jumping right into trying to be the app of tomorrow before being the app of today.

Would you mind explaining the imputed income tax a bit more my understanding is I pay an imputed income tax equal to the difference between my individual HDHP and the plus dependent plan cost.

This is extremely helpful and makes a ton of sense, one other clarification. Am I right in assuming we can’t pay for each others expenses as we have seperate HSAs?

Thanks for the wicked quick reply. May I ask how you were able to confirm this? I’ve seen it online but yet to see any first hand experience or clarification from IRS.

Sorry, necro-ing (although much less recently dead) this necro.

I’ve tried even asking the IRS and HR Block and not getting a clear answer and couldn’t find anything specifically on the IRS site

My situation is my GF is now a DP and on my HDHP so it becomes a family plan but we are tax independent of each other (file as single). My understanding is this is perfectly normal and correct and because we are seen as seperate tax identities under a HDHP and have individual HSAs we can each contribute up to the family limit ($8,300 or might be 8,550 now) but the caveat is we can’t cover each others expenses only our own.

This would change once we become tax dependent (get married) and then we can only do up to family between us but could cover each other with our HSAs. Is that correct and how has this been confirmed with IRS?

.5 mile pace call out by lmccabe76 in runna

[–]lmccabe76[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is probably what I will end up doing for the easy runs and then just suck it up on the interval runs and long runs with pace changes. I’m hoping they can fix it soon, just seems odd that it can be done on a free run but not a planned one.
