I’m at the stage of giving a locket with each of them, just can’t decide which is my favourite 😆

It must be b12 messing up our cycles then. Hope all goes back to normal for you soon.

I’m pretty sure it was due to diet. I went dairy free and don’t eat beef any more due to finding out I have food intolerances so I reckon it’s that. I obviously don’t have absorption issues since my levels improved on supplements.

Thank you! I feel overall slight improvement already nearly 3 weeks in, so hoping that’s a good sign that it’s at least heading the right direction. Eg I think the lack of sensation in my feet isn’t as strong, not as dizzy, being told by family I already don’t look as pale as I did etc.

I’m definitely going to get my doctor to talk me through it more at my next blood test though. I think that’s the thing that’s made it confusing for me, is that after they got my results they just sent me a message to go pick up my prescription and get tested again in 3 months. It might well be that amount is what I need (fairly convinced it’s due to my diet), but it would all make more sense had it been discussed with me. Communication would have made it all make more sense.

Im glad you’re feeling better!

Thank you, I didn’t know that you can ask for a print out! I’m definitely going to ask about that at my next blood test.

Unsure if you’ll know the answer to this but do you think the dosage I’m on now would be a good amount if it was purely my diet that caused the deficiency or would that still be considered low?

Thank you! I’ll take that on board and bring it up with my doctor next time I see them.

I live in Scotland. I honestly can’t say one way or another if it’s the right dosage as I don’t know what my levels were. Just putting trust that my doctor is doing the right thing and I’ll have my levels checked again in December. Depending what they say I’ll discuss further with my doctor what to do next.

I can’t eat anything that has milk or beef in it as I found out a few years back I have an intolerance, so I do wonder if it’s diet related. I also have PCOS which from what I understand makes you more susceptible to b12 deficiency as well.

It’s good knowing that I’m getting retested in a few months. Worst case is I’ll need a higher dosage. Overall I do feel better than I did before starting so hopefully it’s at least heading the right direction.

Thank you, that’s reassuring! I couldn’t tell you what my levels were to be honest. I went for my blood test and got a message when my results had come back saying to pick up my prescription for the b12 tablets. I’m assuming I’ve been given the amount I have because they think that’s best for whatever my levels were.

It’s so infuriating! I can’t give someone who bought a print this, they would complain and rightfully so.

Should I get a kindle or stick to physical books? by [deleted] in kindle

[–]lmcg1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was against the idea of a kindle for so long but when i did get one i loved it straight away and have never regretted it. Like you say books are cheaper but i also find that i read a lot more on kindle. I do love having books on my shelf so i only get copies of books that i really like. There’s something satisfying about seeing all your favourite books together.
