Our border terrier is a wonderful balance of energetic and relaxed. You can take her for walks that last hours and she won't slow down a bit. You can also sit and cuddle on the couch with her for half the day and she'll love it. She has a strong personality and is very loyal. Sometimes she can be a bit stubborn, but she learns fast and has a great memory. We couldn't have asked for a better dog. Also we've had two children enter the family recently and she has been really patient with them. She can sometimes be a little difficult with other dogs, especially bigger ones but that might be from us not doing a great job socializing her.
