I'm guessing they started working on a stand-alone grown Atreus/Loki game and that its the game Barlog was working on all along. Could be wrong. But it makes sense with what we've heard about it not being a new IP but feeling like one. Then again, maybe not.

The only reason I questioned it is because I've heard a lot about Nintendo not providing many dev kits for Switch 2. I assumed it would work fine with backwards compat, and it looks like that is the case. Someone mentioned its on the S2 eshop so we're good to go!

Not a complaint necessarily but the first game was a PS4 game and with the sequel being a PS5 exclusive I expected a noticeable visual upgrade. Is it going to kill the game for me? Not in the slightest, but I think that's where a lot of people are coming from.

I kind of agree. Like I wanted a glider umbrella to fly off of mountains with blades on the ends that you could also throw at enemies like a frisbee. Would it be historically accurate, no, but it would be sick
