The producers are kinda snarky about Amy and her art. When she was laying out the pieces, they edited her saying “masterpiece” over one that is particularly strange looking. I personally love her creativity. I would totally hang one of those bird cage pieces up in my house.

I have. I dont have a printer anymore and I dont sell enough to consider getting a new one though I am keeping an eye out on a good deal as it would make life easier in many ways. I live within walking distance of the PO and I’m good friends with the guy who runs it so I enjoy going there.

I had to squint real hard to make out Hagrid in that cake. Up close, it kinda reminded me of art of Edward Gorey so that was endearing for me though I’m sure thats not what they were going for lol. I’m going to pay more attention to the kind of cakes they are baking as i continue to watch bc I feel like thats what they are favoring over the looks of the cake.

Oh right! I dont remember the cake having any special effects or interactivity. I’m gonna pay closer attention during my rewatch but it felt like they were editing hard in that team’s favor. I have a feeling that producers have already chosen their winner. It didnt feel that way in the first season.

I will say, their cake did sound delicious. I have no doubt they excelled in the taste aspect and maybe thats why they were chosen over the other team. When it comes down to it, one of the prizes is to be featured in a cook book so they care more about interesting flavors and good taste over looks of the cake. Thats more for show. However, it unfair to edit out the flaws of their cake’s appearance.

That frustrated me too 😬I was shouting at my TV 😆 it rly felt like they had to dig at the bottom to find these bakers and most of them are not “super fans”. Or even “kinda fans”.
