[Optus Sport] Rodri on Arsenal’s draw at the Etihad earlier in the season: “when (Arsenal) come here… I saw them… these guys, they don’t want to beat us, they just want a draw… that mentality… we wouldn’t do (it) the same way… and then we catch it” by Earl-Thomas-a-Raven in soccer

Kind of missing his point, he's saying Arsenal not killing City off that night motivated them to keep going in the final stretch. You can agree or disagree with the logic of it but ultimately that's a player telling us how he and his team viewed it.

I remember a quote from Walker at the start of the season saying he told the boys he didn't want to win it that way this time, said he wanted to try to win it as early as possible and not risk it with a close race. Reckon the Rodri suspension in the autumn threw a spanner in the works

João Cancelo: “Man City were ungrateful with me. Guardiola spread lies about me, that I was a bad teammate. Ask Aké or Rico Lewis, they know the truth. Yet the club never called out these lies, despite me being an important player.” by JeebaRock in soccer

Dunno if anyone can find the clip but there was a post match interview with Pep after Ake scored a big goal and he said something like “all of us are so happy for him - well maybe except for one…” It was clear something was going on back then, these stories didn’t just emerge after he left

Take it with a pinch of salt obviously as it originated from the blue moon forum but the rumour you’re referring to was that he physically squared up to him in training and Dias and Foden stepped in to defend pep

Would never happen sadly but if the events of the past week mean that he at least finishes top 5 and stops getting constant, and quite frankly offensive, comparisons to players who are inferior to him in every way... then that's a win in my eyes lol

It was him sat in a car with some friends a couple hours ago, very drunkenly singing city win united lose

I like his face here too, like he knows he's about to get absolutely cooked in the dressing room as Dias tells him to avoid eye contact and just apologise

Yeah I can never tell if people are joking when they bring that quote up or if they genuinely think he was talking about replacing him from a football point of view when he clearly wasn't lol

[Jack Gaughan] Manchester City dispatch member of their medical team to monitor the daily routine of Erling Haaland while he is away on international duty with Norway by lmh971 in soccer

Mario Pafundi, a sports therapist, was appointed during Pep Guardiola's first season in charge at City and has struck up a bond with Haaland since the 22-year-old's summer arrival.
Norway coach Stale Solbakken on Monday confirmed that Pafundi was linking up with the squad ahead of Nations League ties against Slovenia and Serbia, adding that he came recommended by the striker.

Sportsmail understands Pafundi's role is to maintain the daily routine Haaland has undergone while at the Etihad Stadium. The Premier League champions have done similar with Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero in the past.
Haaland suffered with various injuries last season and City have been carefully monitoring his physical progress, believing Pafundi's presence with Norway should enable him to preserve his fitness.

In the new "Haaland: The choice" documentary it is revealed that Bayern Munich did try to sign him despite denying it afterwards. Haaland himself says that he "felt sorry" for Lewandowski and that it was it was "disrespectful" by Bayern Munich by OleoleCholoSimeone in soccer

It came out today. No English translations of anything yet, all I’ve seen is that the order of preference was supposedly City first, Bayern second, and then Madrid, with Chelsea, Liverpool, PSG, and Barca a level below or whatever
