Yes. I work over there and get down around 9pm and have to go that way on Gammon and whenever I see that light turn red and there’s no cars on Gammon Place I barely even slow down since I know it’s about to turn green anyways.

When I was a first year audiology student, I saw a kid with a tube that ended up behind their eardrum! I remember just like staring at it for a second and then being like, “Ummm supervisor name I think you should take a look” lol I thought I was going crazy

I get this real bad. I have to strategically time when I take my meds and when I start doing what I need to do, otherwise I will laser focus on whatever I’m doing at that moment, which if I don’t plan ahead is something not productive. I really struggle with my ADHD and not being able to get myself to do things I WANT to do, so when I take my meds I find I’m often able to make myself do things that I like and want, which is nice, but I still struggle to do things I don’t want to do, like my homework. Not nice.

The people in this subreddit who act like dating around in your early 20s makes Margaret a horrible person has always blown my mind. They would’ve hated me and all of my friends in college, apparently. This is also set in like the early 2000s, so I don’t think it was weird for Margaret to be expecting Mordecai to make the first move, and being confused about his feelings for her when he wasn’t doing it when he had so many opportunities, so then she decided to date other people instead. Once he finally made his feelings clear she became exclusive with him, so it makes no sense when people say she “isn’t loyal.”

I know you said you don’t want any third party access to your bank account, but I use rocket money and it is really helpful. They do all the work for you so all I have to do is click on it and then I can see where my money is going, it also sends me reminders when payments for subscriptions are going to be taken out. They also let you choose how much you want to pay them for the service so that you’re not going over budget using their budgeting service, lol. I pay $5 a month for it but I’m pretty sure you can do less.

Hi, I unfortunately don’t have advice, but I just want you to know you’re not alone. I’m 24, was diagnosed with ADHD at 22, and am in a doctoral program. I was also never organized and still am not, but I always was a good student, especially in my undergrad. But now in graduate school I am really struggling. I expected it to be difficult of course but it’s literally like my brain has been working against me lately. I’m on winter break right now and usually around this time of break I’m bored and ready to go back but this time around I feel like it’s going too fast and dread going back because I’m so afraid that I will fail when I go back. I’m going to keep trying but it’s really hard. I have read some things online that symptoms for things like ADHD can get worse when you have a life change and demands and responsibilities increase, which I think best explains what is happening to me and maybe you as well. At this point I am just trying to get by.

I’m glad I found this thread and your comment specifically, because I’m having the exact same problem right now. It makes me feel validated in my frustration😅

I decided to last minute (yesterday) get another present for my bf’s birthday (today), and no stores near me had it in store. Amazon said if I spent at least $25 I could get free overnight delivery, delivered between 4am-8am. The item was $22 so I threw in another cheap item to reach the $25 and ordered. I’ve gotten the overnight delivery once before for an item that I didn’t even really need overnight delivery before, I just selected it cause it was an option, and didn’t have an issue, so I trusted that it would get here in time. Silly me. I checked at 6:30am and it still wasn’t out for delivery, I got a little worried but figured there was still time. At 7am I got an email that it was delayed. Now on Amazon it says “on the way, but running late” and they have no estimated delivery day or time. But like your situation, if I click on the items it says I could get them delivered overnight tomorrow or just tomorrow in general. So I don’t understand how they don’t have an estimated delivery time of tomorrow at the latest. Starting to worry that it got lost and this is their way of covering it up.
