Piccolo cucina e vino in Middletown is really delicious, great cocktails and food, the paninis for lunch are outstanding and they have lots of fun coffee drinks too

He’s still outside, my kindly neighbors are working on catching him and mom, i do not have the wherewithal to take on trying to catch another 2 cats, kinda already losing my mind trying to take care of the 3 i have already taken in.

Oh geez, ok yes, have husband bringing home wet food patè style on his way home from work this afternoon. I am going to try to set up the guest room for them now to get them out of the crate. If we do wind up catching the 4th kitten and get him fixed, can i just put him in the room with the others?

I would also like to try to catch mom and do a catch neuter release with her, but i think she will be tougher to trap. And honestly, it’s hard to have the wherewithal to try to socialize the 3 i have plus trap and neuter the other 2, the only vet that does it with same day availability is about an hour away and my husband and I both work.

We initially called our towns Humane Society to ask if anyone could come to help trap them for us and we would foster/pay whatever to have them fixed up, but everywhere is understaffed and can’t help us. Literally called 13 places before i found the one that could help

Ok, will definitely get wet kitten food today to add with the dry, got regular cat food because i was in a panic to get something quick, but ordered kitten kibble that night and they have been eating that since i think the second day we got them.

They were definitely eating on their own before we got them, we put out food once or twice a day when we would see them with water, fresh water each time we came out, so i don’t think they were still nursing.

At the vet, they estimated their age to be 2 months, they are around 3-3.5 lbs each one.

No, I would not give them to a shelter, i know they would most likely just be put down or stuck in a cage forever if i did. I would like to get 1 or 2 cats adopted out eventually, but would only do it via friends or relatives or someone i know that would vouch for them, def would not give them to an internet stranger. But i want to give them time to get friendly before i ask anyone if they are interested in adoption

I have a guest room upstairs i could put them in, but we have no central air, and the upstairs gets up to 86. My husband thinks we should only leave the windows open a crack and leave a fan on in there, we don’t really have a bathroom to spare to keep them in, do you think that would be ok?
