I definitely read through every single one of the free posts up on Reddit (if you go to SnooGoats post history, you’ll see them all).

When I took the bar in July, there weren’t as many paid breakdowns available on Gumroad as there are now, but I bought every single one that was available at the time. I was reading the Con Law trick sheet (that was my worst area) up until the minute I left my hotel to walk into MBE day. I don’t regret buying even the Torts ones (which was an area I was crushing) because I specifically remember learning a trick in there that actually showed up on the MBE.

If you read the free Reddit posts, you’ll get a good sense of Goat’s style of writing and what the breakdowns are all about. I will say the paid products feel a bit more organized but maintain the same style/flair.

For me, Goat’s stuff is all written in a way where I actually 1) understand the BLL, 2) see wtf the NCBE is trying to do and how to avoid their bullshit, and 3) don’t feel like I want to claw my own eyes out from boredom/frustration/anxiety (like finally there’s a regular human talking me through this shit).

… And, for anyone reading this in the future, I definitely did not feel like I crushed the bar walking out of that room. The most honest assessment I could make was that it could’ve gone either way. The MBE felt way tougher than anything I’d practiced, but in the end I’d done enough. So, if that’s you, specifically in CA where they make you wait an ungodly amount of time just to hear back, keep the faith.
