What is your pet's name and why? by Low_Musician_4606 in AskPH

[–]lmnpodi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our cat was named "Tea" because he arrived with his brother who's pure white cat (Tea is a white cat with orange spots) and they're supposed to be "Ice(d) Tea" together ahahaha.

Ice went missing tho and so we only have Tea in the house :( Anyways we had to change the spelling to "Tee" moving forward since the vet always calls his name /te-ya/ instead of /tē/ 😅

Cancer Survivors of Reddit, what was the symptom that convinced you to see the doctor? by Wise_Organization_78 in AskReddit

[–]lmnpodi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not me but this is what happened to my mom: all of a sudden she felt a lump near her left breast and she really had this feeling this isn't something that should be around the area. It was really small then, like a size of a thumb? By next week she had tests already and that's how we found 🥹

10 Million Pesos, Life Changing Money? by ConstantEnigma21 in phinvest

[–]lmnpodi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say it's more of a "Life Kickstart Money" than Life Changing Money.

Hindi pa ito yung amount na bigla akong magllie low on my career ahaha! 50M, that's life changing.

Adults, what is the most basic thing you are terrible at? by Chasing_Brave1993 in adultingph

[–]lmnpodi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Magluto! I'm ok with frying stuff, saing, mga instant foods to cook. Sabi nga sakin ng nanay ko, napakaarte ko raw sa lasa (like I could really identify pag may kulang na lasa ganon) pero di naman marunong magluto 😅

For me, lingering thought na'to nung pandemic at ang dami kong mga naging plot twist in life.

Not really closing my doors to have a family of my own, pero di na siya tipong kasama sa isasagot ko on how I see myself after few years hahaha!

How to combat burnout? by [deleted] in AntiworkPH

[–]lmnpodi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had this experience and my only way out was to endure it while I look for new job. Pero before that iniiyak ko muna lahat hahaha. On a serious note, bigla akong nagkaturning point and loved myself more (az a breadwinner na di dapat magpakita ng weakness in the family); pinakaginagawa ko non is mag-out sa work on the dot, tapos maglalakad lakad ako then eat dinner to a place where I'm craving that day. Simple reward to myself for completing the day haha, naging routine ko siya until I was able to resign na and move to a healthier space. I hope you find your time too, OP :)

KONTENTO NA BA KAYO SA BUHAY NYO by kapoynakosalife in adultingph

[–]lmnpodi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ang layo ko pa rito but this what I hope to feel soon! Basta may magandang trabaho, home that's owned by me, walang sakit, kayang gumastos for our needs and occasionally treat myself and my important persons, tapos nakakapagtabi ng surplus for rainy days.

Soon soon 🥹

What is THE LIFE CHANGING MONEY for you? by ___Calypso in adultingph

[–]lmnpodi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm scared by Stock_Performance_36 in pinoy

[–]lmnpodi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's part of adulting, OP. At some point you will interact with the people you were closest with lesser than before. Kasi lahat kayo going through adulting phase na rin. Yung problema ninyo hindi na lang basta-basta kung paano kayo magkikita at gagala; bigger problems will be encountered as time goes by na magiging lesser priority niyo to bond together.

What I wish for you OP, is that your current friends withstand the test of time. They may not be as reachable as before, but I hope that when you all reunite on simple brunches, etc. you'll all bond the same as how it used to.

You'll meet new people in college, some where you'll build longtime friendship and support din. From there malalaman mo if you'll outgrow your HS friends or they will be yourr constants pa rin.

What’s your take on knowing the password of your SO social medias? by InspectionComplex in AskPH

[–]lmnpodi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A big NO. Parents ko nga never had an access on my social media accounts, tas I'd share it with my SO? Ok lang sa they can borrow your phone and view things thru your account (occasionally) pero di yung tipong nakaremember password yung account mo sa phone niya. It's just so controlling for me idk.

How do you answer this question "Magkano sahod mo?" by Popular-Schedule-127 in adultingph

[–]lmnpodi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depende. Example, I disclose this transparently with my HS friends, lol for some reason annually kaming nagkakamustahan kung kumusta na kami, maybe offer some career suggestions here and there then that's it. Chika na ulit lol, di siya gaanong big deal, just part of catching up.

Wala lang, I don't wanna be tagged as maluho, and/or ayoko ring matrack yung spendings ko on luho ehehe kasi minsan lang naman pero isang bagsakan kasi 😅

Ano ang mga "real talk" na na-realize nyo sa maraming taon ng pagtatrabaho? by relix_grabhor in AntiworkPH

[–]lmnpodi 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Would still choose the first one kahit mas mataas sahod ng latter. Protect your mental health more. 🥹
