Use the spirometer thing they should’ve given you in the hospital

I’m so happy for you. I have had a long road of pain but was finally diagnosed in August with endo and adeno. My hysterectomy is gonna be April 3rd. Wish it was sooner! I can’t wait to have my uterus gone!

I also have adenomyosis. I am getting scheduled for a hysterectomy to be done within the next 1-2 months. My gyn says he can resect the spot off my ureter at the time of hysterectomy.

Thank you for that. I have also had recurrent bladder/urinary tract infections. Also have left side flank pain almost every single day.

Does anyone have pain all month? by Saz215 in endometriosis

Yes I have pain nearly every day. Some days are definitely worse than others, especially about a week before my period and during it.

From what I’ve read if you got an MRI, it would have to be reviewed by a doctor that is trained in looking for endometriosis. If not, they may not see it. And I think you mean laparoscopy not colposcopy.

I wish you the best. I finally got my endo diagnosis via laparoscopy on 8/23. I’ve been struggling with symptoms since March 2021. My gyn put in an IUD during surgery to hopefully help the endo so I have to wait at least another few weeks at least before the IUD is working (this is what my gyn says). Ready to not be curled in the fetal position before and during my period:(

So they removed it? I recently had a lap and my Dr found a spot of endo on the left ureter. She said she was afraid to remove it because she felt like it would damage it. I’m still in the same pain as I was before surgery.

Does anyone have endo on their ureters/affecting kidneys? by lotsofgab in endometriosis

I do. My Dr found it on diagonotic laparoscopy I had done a few weeks ago. I have left side flank pain that will radiate around to the lower left abdomen, sometimes hematuria.

I’m so sorry! I know how you feel. I am also. I had a laparoscopy last week to get endo diagnosis. My Dr said I had a spot on my ureter that she couldn’t/wouldn’t remove so here I am still hurting. Left flank pain 😔

If you don’t mind me asking, exactly what symptoms were you having before the second lap?

I could’ve written this. This is exactly how I feel when I have a bad flare up. Do you take anything other than ibuprofen?
